well over the last few days i've put 87km on it! She's been running great (been keeping under 5k rpm for the time being as i'm still working out the bugs. Having issues with the z1 upgraded throttle bodies sticking and causing my idle to surge so i'll have to take those apart this long weekend.

Also i'm having a hell of a time trying to find the rubber piece that holds the back of the shifter assembly to the body of the car. It's a PAIN IN THE a** having to lift the shift knob before shifting.

Naw, not planning on hitting the dyno until i get at least a 1000km on the new motor and road tune out all the bugs, as far as meets go i'll be out n' about. There's a car meet at GAS performance at the Waverly Auto Mall that i'll stop by but i can always stop by the Pony too with my bro and his H1 Hummer with the Duramax swap.

The NA is going to be pulled for a swap, but I had to re-schedule so I wont be dropping it off on Monday. When its out of the car, Brian will be throwing in an LS3 with T56. Im shooting to begin the swap next summer. I would like to have the motor pulled before winter to prep the engine bay, but time will tell.

indeed! she made 572whp @ 28psi on 91 pump gas!! The tune was good for the dyno but not for the street, motor didn't last long

2 hard runs on the highway after a 4 hour dyno session and the heads started to lift off the block due to some serious detonation. Lost compression in one cylinder and started to burn coolant.

tore the heads off and found this:

The head was dropped off and i'm picking it up monday, should be another week and i'll throw it all back together and back to the dyno with the PROPER octane gas, C116! so i can drop the boost and lean out the a/f's since i had to run super fat after 5krpm's...almost 10's

should make 650-700whp on c116 for the track. then just gonna run 500whp on the street

nice numbers, i'm assuming your running meth, but even still, why so much boost on pump gas?? that's just asking for trouble. What kind of timing are you running?

Also, what are the specs on that turbo?

Turbo Specs are: HP-66 .81 A/R. This turbo is good for 550-800HP depending on application.

Using FJO methanol injection

28psi seemed to do just fine on the dyno but i had miscalculated drag due to wind resistance on the car when it wasn't on the dyno which helped cause the motor to detonate...well that and the fact that i was on the dyno for 4 hours, and decided to do 2 highway pulls back to back downshifting hard to help slow the car down.

i'm going to keep this tune but use a half 91 half 110 mix, then have a c116 tune to push for 650whp and my daily tune around 15-19psi.

gotcha... 28 seems high even with meth on that big of a turbo, but ya street tune and dyno tune can be two different things, sucks to hear about the motor. Good luck with geting it back together, i think there might be a few other single turbo z32's popping up in the next couple months

psi limit for 91/93 pump gas is about 20ish. I get detonation at 22psi with 94 octane.

did the bumpy idle work itself out? what was the solution? Mine likes to go up and down after i run it hard... then if i let it sit for a bit it gets back to flat idle.

was running 28psi all last night, just had to taker easy on it and make sure temps stayed low.

Fixed the head, threw it all back together and she runs like a champ!

the goofy idle was fixed as soon as we threw a proper tune on it.

Sept 15th i'll be heading to the track to see what she can do
