I know a guy who has those on his Acura. I remember seeing that box in his garage before. I didn't know they had those on ebay? Never heard any complaints about them so they must be pretty decent. I'm happy with mine, so far.

oh yeah, Eric, I went with the Xentek HID kit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVWModified by rjdmmfl1 at 11:51 PM 12/3/2007
do you mind posting a pix? I wanted to see how they match up with the factory HIDs. The link you just posted, are they the same ones you used for your fog lights? They need a ballast and stuff too? can't just simply replace the bulb? If the bulbs match w/ the factory HIDs, I'm tempted to just buy them instead of buying real HID kit. 250 bucks for foggies to look brighter are a bit excessive for me right now saving $ for other stuff. Thanks

JOhnny, no. no, no, I'm sorry, let me clear things up...

I bought the Xentek HID conversion kit for headlight replacements for my wife's Altima Sedan.. they look great..

For my fog lights, I just bought some 4300K Xenon H11 bulbs off of ebay... the Xenon bulbs don't require ballast as it's not an HID kit... here's a link...

I'll take both day and night pictures for you... I think they look great, a hell of a lot better than the halogen foggies IMO!

that's what I thought, your HID link made me wonder hehe. These bulbs said they are rated at 60W, the factory ones are 55W. It won't be a problem if they draw an additional 5W will it? Thanks

I used to run these in my 200Sx and never had a problem! But, honestly, athough I love the look of these bulbs, i am considering doing what Tyler did and getting HID conversion kit for my foggies... those things are just so darn bright! I love em!

as long as they match up with the factory HIDs i'm gonna buy them. I don't need a ton of light for the foggies .... 20 bucks is very affordable compared to 250 Just waiting on your pic. Thanks

Just remember that going with a higher wattage bulb may melt your light housing. Or in this case, your foglight housing. My gf had these cheapy Nokya 7000K bulbs on her car which were rated at 65w I believe, and now she has two melted housings to show for it.

Eric, yeah, I've heard of stories like that , It never happened to me in my previous car, but I guess you can never say never! I'll keep my fingers crossed for now, but until I get my HID (which I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do) I'll have to make due!

thanks for the warning, Eric. The seller mentioned that they are low voltage and won't melt the harnesses. Let's hope he's right

You don't have to worry about the harnesses, it's the lens that'll burn first. They fog up/ melt due to the heat from the bulb. Like rjdmmfl1 said, he has no issues with this. But, my gf's car took a few months to actually show signs of burning. Now the lenses are permanently damaged

Sorry Eric, this is the last one... also, in regards to the housing, remember, it's not just about the input wattage, but ouput as well, if your gf was running 65W inputs with 160/170 w output, that may be the cause of the melted harness.melting housing apparatus! Just a thought..

Johnny, check these out also,55W5000Khttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

stay away from one's like this... these will fry your lenses and melt your harness for sure!90w input170W outputhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

Read this thread from the start. I give driving impressions and vid clips of the sound. It sounds very close to a G35.

go ahead and get the aftermarket intake dude. the only thing you would need to get your original air box back on looking like it came from the factory is two electrical ties.

Did all of you guys disconnect the battery when installing the intake? the instructions it came with said to but i've been seeing people with electrical problems when they disconnected the battery.. does this help reset the computer to help adapt to the increase airflow or something?

So i just finished installing my intake myself. At first i was skeptical about me doing it since I am only 16 years old but after 2 days of having it just sitting there in the box I decided to go ahead and give it a try. Boy did this guide help me. I still cant belive I did this by myself and how good it sounds. Thanks generic808 for the guide.

Still wondering about this. I want to know if I leave it the way it is (upside down) will it mess anything up or what?

I cant post pics but if someone wants me to email them the pics so they can post it I'd do that. PLEASE ADVISE.
