In regards to our complete transmissions, the units that we build are stateof the art. If you look on our website, many of the modifications andspecial things that we do (but certainly not all) are listed. I have beenworking with these transmissions since they were new and we have a reallygood handle on what is required to make them as strong as they can possiblybe.
Also, as I said before, I'm really not in the business of talking about mycompetitors. If you were to browse the web, there are some horror storiesgoing around if were to look among the Supra, Honda and DSM communities inregards to their experiences with other shops. You would be extremely hardpressed to find anything at all negative written about IPT, as we run anethical business and put out good products.
I'm always a little discouraged when I lose a job to a shop that simply liesto their customers to get sales (I'll spare you the examples, but if a shopwere to make dubious claims, the truth wouldn't surface until after thepurchase was made). I definitely lose work by being honest and realisticwhen discussing our products.
If you would like, take a look at some of the forums (use their searchfeature for IPT or Import Performance Transmissions) where we do a lot ofwork for the members- yotatech.com , tacomaterritory.com , 3si.org ,dsmtalk.com , dsmtuners.com ,etc. You will find nothing but lots of happycustomers and positive feedback.
Here are just a few examples:

Concerning your other question about the speed of the shifts, in simpleterms, although a stock type shift may be elongated, that's not to say thatthe vehicle will lose a substantial amount of momentum during that time, especially at heavier throttle openings. If you have a baseline 1/4 miletime for your vehicle and can find similar weather conditions, I supposethat you could do a before and after comparison with the modified vb, butagain, I'm not sure that there is a measurable difference. I'd love for youto prove me wrong in that respect.
I hope that I was able to answer all of your questions.
Anyway, I hope to talk to you soon.Regards, John
