Hey, you know how I said that even without my keys in, my lights would be on...well I wanted to see if I had a short in my wires or if it was just my ECU(seeing as how I blew it and all......heh). so what I noticed was that if i just plug my battery in and go to ACC or anything but trying to turn the car over my lights dont come on. After I turn the key and try to start it, my lights come on and wont go off, unless i either unplug the battery or the ECU. P.S. I blew the ignition on switch signal pin in my ECU. Could it be that when I send a pulse to that ignition on switch pin that it kicks on my lights? Confused.....must get help. heh.

Your car is not grounded prperly, either! Please make sure you ground the engine block to the chasis and the head to the chasis.

Hey, i checked my engine for grounds and I got em. My throttle body is grounded, along with my head and block. is there supposed to be a certain resistance to it though or anything? let me know

Hey, I checked my spark plugs for spark(by just turning over the engine and looking for spark) and i had none. however, on my second cylinder(2nd from front) when i was looking for spark and holding the coil pack I got shocked a bit. I thought that perhaps it jumped to the block and got me but...still no spark. bad ground? remember though, my ECU pin was blown(but i resoldered back very very nicely). hrmmmmmmm..ideas?

i took off the coil pack and then put a spark plug in the red rubber fitting and looked to see if the spark plug sparked.

yeah, in order for the spark to jump it must have a path to ground home slice. power from the coil, jump the plug gap, through the threads to ground. try it like that bro. its an easy mistake.
