Do you find that engine and transmission work hard or just time consuming? Cause I'm 17 and want to do a 5 speed swap but my parents think I can't do it. What do you think?

I think it is fairly simple now. It just helps out alot when you have two people to work on it. If you want to do a five speed swap, just make sure you have all the parts in advance. Like all the tools, and necessary things you will need to do the swap.

Hope that helps

Still looking for opinions from previous post.

Well today I installed my and steering wheel.Well the hub doesnt fit correctly, and it kinda jiggles. Its like the tapered spot behind the spline doesnt fit snug.

What should I do here?

Here are the pics. This BOSS hub sucks! It doesnt turn my turn signals off, and my horn that came with my steering wheel, has two wires a power and a ground. The hub only has a power wire. So I need to figure out how to make my horn work.My interior is super dirty right now so dont worry it will get cleaned. And heres one for lolzz.

It's getting close to Christmas so Merry Christmas

Where'd you order your NRG Steering Wheel? Cause when I ordered mine, same one as yours, it didn't come with the Horn Button.

And for the signals not working, there should've been a tripper that came with the HKB Kit that you put in the two holes on the hub to trip the signal.

We have the same hub, and what I'm thinking of doing mine is that cut a brass plate and just add it to the existing one since the HKB hub metal contact is too small.

This might help:zer...-vert

Where did you buy your hub from? I'm looking for a cheap hub.

Second I'm loving your car, you will love those wheels once your car is lowered. Hell if you really can't afford coilovers, do what I did, and i dailyed/drifted for a whole summer on the setup and no problems, cut a single coil out of your springs, its almost an inch if not more lower. You'll love yourself later for it trust me.

Are those 15s or 16s? I had 15x7 +25's on my car and they were flush with the body, and had like a 2 finger gap with my cut lowering springs/kybs, now I wouldn't cut anymore than a coil out, atleast I didn't.

This:

zer...-vert

As you can see, the HKB/Boss/Boss Kit Hub brass diameter is too small for the horn contact. That is the only problem with that kind of hub. Should have ordered a Momo Hub. But other than that, it fits perfectly fine.

I also have HKB Hub, and I'm thinking about extending that brass contact area bigger so it contacts with the far bottom left contact, the power/horn point.

Hope that helps.
