well yesterday i got my new fuel fliter. and my dad worked on my hood and got it i nthe final coat of primer. so it is ready for paint. now it is time to work on the hatch.

we got soem gray primer over spray in my nice black engine bay. so i have to do some touch ups which sucks.

tomorrow i am ordering my clutch and fly wheel. and turbo, and acessories. going to try to have my eninge back in my car by the end of jan.and then painted mid feb soem time. also in feb i will get my new windshield and my injectors. and maybe my tune.

so after this purchase all iwill need is my new radiator and my intercooler kit. injectors. and tune and i can start my baby up.

this is the game plan for now.

sounds good, jsut a few question; did u have teh engine bay masked off? how did the overspray get there? and why arent u painting it before putting the engine in

Well I had the gauge itself sitting in my room for about a year and a half already, so I have NO IDEA where it might be. Meanwhile I'm gonna try to hook up everything else electrical wise, and the boost gauge.

my dad doesnt want to put the motor in after the car is painted. that is how he does it.the fenders are off the car s othat is how over spray got underneath.alos throgu the front since the bumper is off.

ok that makes sense. i thought about it afterwards and it makes sense not to put an engine in a car w/ new paint, dont wanna bump into anything. on the other hand, painting normally makes things kinda dusty and u dont wanna dirty up a clean motor

yep, he says he wants to paint the car very last ting. but i dont want to i wantot get my motor in and then paint it. i want to put my suspension stuff on after it is painted but he says i should do it while the fenders are off.

well today i make a very large purchase.2105.00 later i have the following parts coming.gt2871r .64ar turboact 6 puck clutch kitact sreetlight flywheelcircuit sport turbo linescircuit sport adapters turbo inlet and outlettaka oil restrictorcircuit sport short shifter

i think that is basically it.the turbo from garrett should be at pahse2 tomorrow. so hope fully they can ship all my parts tomorrow, but if not they wont be able to ship until the 3rd.

hopefully my motor will be able to be started the end of march

I found a website that showed you how with pics, because I'm a HUGE noob with wires. So I wired up my boost gauge and presto! it worked and turned on ftmfw! I was going to do a write up on it but I couldn't find my camera.

i was seriously considering those wheels, until i found grids. the bronze is too light imo and the grids are a little darker plus i like the design of the grids better
