when you get a chance bring it to a large parking lot and take pics with the sunlight bathing on it.

I love the smoke effect at the tip of the hood.

its a great finale to an epic build thread.

thanks guys. i think my thermostat went to day. i was driving under 10 psi and fricken thermostate goes i am sure, and the temps (oil and water) go up super fast i look back and there isa huge cloud of oil smoke. pull over right away. pop the hood and the dip stick is part way out and oil is all over. so i park i and let it sit then drive it home to night but it is over heating and so i have the heat on ful blast and it is pretty much steam coming out lol.

going to geta new thermostat and pcv valve. maybe replace some water temp sensors cause it is idling really rough.

good news is i gota new tune coming for it

Ben what the heck happen i just read that your car overheated, why is that how hot didit get and how that happen, did you stop right after you saw the temp go up to hot or what?

is the motor ok? and your gonna get a new thermostat and temp sensor.

and you got a revised tune from enthalpy what did you get reprogramed for the new tune or what did scott change?

welll i have found the reason for the crappy idle. it is because of my dirty maf. i will be cleaning that to hopefully solve the problem

the ecu was throwing the code 12 and from waht i could find that is the MAF. and i knows it dirty from my old catch can set up noot working the greatest. does any one know if a dirt MAF could cause your car to over heat if your driving with the MAF being dirty. most likely it would lean the fuel ratio out because of the oil on the sensor which would cause the car to run hotter. which hopefully will fix my problem.

i will probably replace the thermostat to be safe.

nice paint man. As far as overheating goes, a dirty maf wouldnt come close to causing that. idk if you used any rtv on anything when you were building, but my old motor when i ripped it apart, apparently the factory loves that stuff, and it was actually overheating because some leftover rtv had clogged two of the coolant ports. Anyway, good luck...be careful with the bee r...their notorious for killing turbo's...wouldnt want that to happen to yours.
