Yeah woke up this morning and saw my baby vandalized...

Went out and got a super deluxe remote start 2 way alarm with LCD pager and a 1 mile range... If it happens again, me and my friend Mr. 9mm will catch them in the act, and hold them there until the police show up.... I mean I wouldn't hurt them, way too much to lose, and its just stuff.. but I'd make sure their a$$es went to jail... man law # 17 "...thou shalt NOT F*CK with another man's ride..."

yessir, I have $2500 coverage with ALLSTATE for stereo equipment and only a $100 deductible.... but its the principal of the matter, ya know!

thats gay...i thought the altis sound an ear piercing alarm when broken into...****...sorry to hear this...have you filed a police report yet...and if you did, did they search for prints?

yeah, but now I don't have money for the exhaust and rims.... gotta wait til march for those!!! Remote start with every possible add on = $550 + $100 deductible for stero + gotta get door pillar fixed

police won't do prints for car break in.. gotta talk to claim adjuster tomorrow for all else...

I don't want to say... anyone scanning this forum could use it to their advantage for other Altimas... let's just say they exposed a slight design flaw in the vehicle! These people knew what they were doing. The did the cleanest break in job I've ever seen!

I've been a victim way too many times in the past, thats why I make sure my insurance covers aftermarket parts. Sorry for this happening. at least they only got part of it

Rob i'm very sorry for your loss. I know exactly how that feels too. I went to a movie one time 11pm movie. Came out to the parkinglot and found my car smashed up onto a curb with the stereo completely gone.... That was in my honda civic, i loved that car until that happened, i lost interest in it after that i never upgraded it again....

oHHH MAN Im really sorry dude... In my mustang i had an insane alpine and i was on vacation.. some clown broke the back windshield n climbed thru the broken glass to get to it lol... Took the ac unit and everything attached to it and slashed all my seats and ruined my trunk (from sitting on it to climb in)... and my car was full of snow when i got back... plus i wasnt covered.... Im really sorry this happend man.. Maybe darker tint next time? I cant see how they knew it was in your car... did they touch the back tvs?

That sucks man! Sorry to hear about your loss and I totally agree with you..it's not about the stuff, it's all about the principal. I hate it when I hear about this kind of crap! Why can't people have respect for other people's stuff.

Hey guys, there's no way to email veryone of you, but thanks for feeling my pain.

In regards to the monitors, Nope, they didn't touch em. I'm serious when I tell you that you can't see them AT ALL at night, unless they are on. Even when you get in the car, and look back there with the light on, if you're not loking for them being there, you'd completely ignore them.

In regards to the pioneer, they didn't touch it!!! It looks like a factory unit, and NOBODY wantd a factory navigation unit! They just took the little extra dvd player. They left the TV's (probably didn't see em), the pioneer Avic D3, the XM radio tuner, ALL OF MY DVD's and Cd's, and they even left the remote for the Tv's, Pioneer, and accesory DVD player. Hell, they even freakin' left my ZUNE in the car (I forgot I left it in there)

In regards to how they got in, I was gonna post it on here, but I just don't feel like making it any easier for crooks out there. T'll try to email all of you individually. In any case, because folks don't really respond to car alarms anymore, they were able to get in, grab, and go! I doubt anyone even came out of their house!

Anyway, it just really sucks. I try to demonstrate altruism as much as possible. Whether its organizing a group buy from which I don't benefit, or answering questions as thoroughly as possible, to becoming a doctor, I'm all about helping other people. I really believe in paying it forward. I'm not perfect, but I would never touch something that belongs to someone else. That's what makes this so much more frustrating. But I def believe that what you do comes back to you. I hope that dvd player is worth whatever ill fate awaits the thieves in the future!

Sorry to hear this. Awful feeling thank god you got coverage. I was in a parking garage and someone broke in to the car right across from mine. Man i can just image how you feel because I thought it was my car for a sec. Good Luck with everything

How/why would you waste your time (possibly a prison sentence) for that stuff they took? I dont understand why they didnt pull the Avic... I am happy they didnt though... Maybe the CF dash fooled them? If its some sort of "hack" how they got in your car, i expect an email... but judging by the fact that they didnt take the D3 shows me they are unsophistocated thieves.. Atleast the damage was minimal and you dont have to wire the D3 again.. sorry again
