I got the RS-1000 2 way pager, remote start alarm system with 1 mile rangeOside3.5 wrote:Sorry to hear about the loss bro, Karma will get those punks. I know how you feel, that's how I got my new A/C. Walked out to the parking lot after a long day of work, and my CIVIC SI was gone. This was two months ago...in my own work parking lot. Hope everything gets taken care of. Oh btw, what brand of alarm did ya get?
I think you're right Cali, and that's why I was freaked out . I was like, these guys now know what type of BS security system my car has, they are gonna be back to finish the job. If they do come back, they'll find things are a little different!Cali 2 Balti G wrote:Maybe the thieves ran out of time - which is why they didn't take additional stuff - who knows?
It does suck when you have to deal with unnecessary BS - good luck with your situation.
You crazy gun wielding americansMr.Coupe wrote:Damn that sucks dude. Me and my dad caught a guy trying to get into my moms suburban about 2 weeks ago in our driveway. The funny thing was that it was 7:30 AM and it was daytime. I almost gave the F*#KER a 357 Magnum Bullet in the A#*, but my dad told me that he wasn't worth it. So I knocked him on the floor and held the gun on his head till the cops got there. He was scared S*#TLESS.
Great to hear you have insurance dude. Those things can be replaced, but freedom can't. You know what I'm saying.

LOL... It sucks how people work their Butts off to have the nice things that they have and some idiot loser comes along and takes it in a matter of seconds. Pisses me off. If i knew any of guys and saw someone doing this I would probably react the same way.mcheddadi wrote:

sorry guys, I didn't get around to emailing everyone. I've been a bit busy with insurance claims, work, the baby, etc. If you are interested, please send me an email, and I'll reply. It's easier that way! Again, it's not rocket science how they got in,I'm just amazed they were so clean with the break in!Serkle K wrote:if it's like the mazda 3 problem, all they had to do was put a swift kick on the door panel just below the door handle, and the door pops open... i dont remember what year 3 it was on, but i know mazda issued a recall and they installed steel plates in the doors... apparently the alarm wouldnt sound cause the door would unlock or something like that... when i was reading up on the 3 the forums said that it was easier if they put a pipe under the handle and then gave it a strong kick and it would pop open... I tried to email rob and ask myself, but he hasnt gotten back to me yet.
again if that is in fact the method then the only was to stop/prevent it from happening is to put a steel plate behind the body panel...
And you didn't get arrested? It is unlawful to hold anyone at gunpoint against their will. It doesn't even matter if the dude is on your property or not, you can't hold him at gunpoint!Mr.Coupe wrote:Damn that sucks dude. You know what, recently in the news someone (believe it was in TX) saw his neighbor's house being robbed, and called 911. the operator spent close to 10 mins I think on the phone with the guy trying to convince him not to do anything, and let the police handle it. the guy calling said he had a gun, and if the robbers start to exit the house before the cops get there, he is going to shoot them. minutes went by, and not even a siren in the background. the 911 tape was played on the news, and the neighbor said, ...I see them coming out, Im gonna shoot them. the 911 operator kept telling him not to do anything, they guy told the operator...Im not gonna let them get away with robbing my neighbor! He then took his gun outside with the cordless phone still on him, and you hear 2 or 3 shots ring out. He killed one instantly, and the 2nd was found a few blocks away dead from the gunshot wound. the city pressed charges on the neighbor. I never saw what happened in the long run, but thats how messed up this country is when it comes to being victimized. If you are being victimized or you see someone else being victimized, you cant do anything that may harm the person doing the damage or you will be in trouble! Makes no sense to me, but those are our laws. Victims have less rights than criminals if you try to defend yourself or someone else.Mr.Coupe wrote:

I take my camcorder and start filming to have proof for the cops and the insurance, and unless someone is in a life or death situation, you just don't go and KILL people because they steal.Importroller wrote:

yeah I have to agree, it is just stuff... its VERY VERY annoying, and yeah you feel violated, but I def wouldn't kill anybody over material stuff...Shift_Altima wrote:Gotta agree with mcheddadi on that.. In the long run this is just 'stuff' even Rob said it himself. This is just 'stuff'.. it's really annoying htat people steal but when it boils down to it.. killing someone because they stole material possesions isn't fair. If the guy was dragging a kid into a car then shoot his *** but if he's dragging a tv or something you don't just shoot him. just my opinion ofcourse..
