Yeah, same here in Florida. From my understanding, you can't shoot at anybody unless they threatening you (or others) with a weapon of some sort, whcih kinda makes sense. And you didn't get arrested? It is unlawful to hold anyone at gunpoint against their will. It doesn't even matter if the dude is on your property or not, you can't hold him at gunpoint!

Well when the cops got to my house I still had that F**Ker on the floor with the gun up. I told the cops what was going on and they arrested him. I just put the gun down when they picked him up the floor and I told the Officer that I was going to put the gun away. He wrote a report and stayed for about an hour. I told him exactly everything I saw and did. I even told him that I knocked the guy down and held the gun to his head till they got there. At the end he just told me to have a great/safe day. And keep an eye out for more of those guys. And to give them a call if I do see anything. He never mentioned anything about me knocking the guy down and holding the gun to his head. He gave us a police report. I gave it to my dad and took off to school.

You know, I just realized who you are on a personal level! I looked closer at your sig and realized I know that dash. Is this why we havent seen you at the meets since the first time I met ya? BTW, which section of SD are you in. I know by me there hasnt been thefts, but a lot of windows get broken out if you park on the street. At least you know its no one you have shown your system off to. Or they would know where the other monitors are located. Hell, I didnt realize the rear ones until you pointed them out, and they were on at the time.

Eric, you being ex law enforcement, I think you know the law better than any of us. So my question is, if I go down stairs with my weapon, and the guy approaches me with his vehicle as if to run me over, what do you do then? I only ask because where my car is parked, its kind of in a one way in one way out area. And if the guy trys to take off in a getaway vehicle, he'll have no choice but to come straight for me.

WOW...I guess the LEO's there a pretty laxed. They didn't roll up on you with their lights and guns pointed at you? It doesn't matter if you're the good guy or bad guy, they should've lit you up with pistols drawn until you were disarmed and on the ground, face down and legs crossed. Reason being, they don't know who you are or what the situation is. No officer can/will approach you until you are disarmed, simple as that!

yep is me, what's good Shawn... man, with this situation, I don't even think I'll be going down to Oxnard. The money I was gonna use on my rims I had to use for an upgraded alarm system. I'm ordering my rims this Friday, but they won't be in until next week some time. I should be at the next car meet though at Fuddruckers...
