i want to add a sub...help please!

hey guys...so im sure there is a post about this already, but I cannot find it. So I just got an Alpine type-r sub from one of my friends for free...i need a box and an alpine amp. but other than that...would would i need? (i have an SL AWD with the Bose system). just a few questions..

1. what all will i need to make the system work
i heard i need a line out converter...what does that do?
2. will i still be able to use my blutooth capabilites that came with the rogue? as well as the steering wheel controls?

You may need to get adapter so you can convert speaker wire to rca output. I did hide my amp under the rear seat but this is not the best idea. Since you have Bose you probably don't want to get aftermarket unit but if you will then most likely you will have rca output straight from the player so in this case you don't need the adapter. And then you can change settings right from the unit.
