:bowrofl: Great job showing the SC mod can be done! Like you, I had also read it was "I'm Possible" LOL. Listen, I was looking over your pictures and saw your Snorkel. Man! That's one clean DIY. I'm hoping you'll consider doing a write up with a full parts list and where to find. It all looks pretty simple, but you sure could save a lot of us the time of trial and errors finding and fitting everything together. I've seen other DIY, which are nice, but yours is the cleanest I've seen.

Again, AWESOME SC MOD...as well as your whole rig! Inspiring :dblthumb:

Thanks.Thats really good to hear, Id be happy to help. The snorkel is a grand total of $100 minus the K/N and a dive in and dont look back attitude. It was a Ebay / Home depot join venture. I will put something together and post it. Something you dont see from the pics are that It is air tight up to the base of the snorkel head and I solved the water problem that can occur when in severe rainstorms. (Drowning the MAF sensor). This will throw the ecu into limp mode. I searcherd the web for hours and not many people understood the rain issue let alone how to fix it. I put a stainless screen over the snorkel opening that spattered the rain into particles and modified the snorkel head base to force the condensed water out to minimize the vapor volume to the inlet tube.
Have a Happy Easter and thanks again for the kind words.

This is my DIY Snorkel. I dont have pics of the final fender fitting. I used a cut off wheel on a hand held grinder and a jig saw with a metal blade for all the cutting.
Also when searching Ebay. Be patient and you will get the best prices. If you're in a hurry for the parts, make sure they are not coming from China. I dont have pics of the stainless screen over the snorkel head opening or the drip slots at the base of the snorkel head. If you have a MAF drowing issue, I can explain how to get around that one later.
