Thanks, I wish I stumbled apon this site months ago. Could have saved a lot of time on my Supercharger research.
By the way, does anyone know how to or if I can post a excel spreadsheet and still keep its format?

It would be easier to take a snapshot of your desktop with the excel spreadsheet open. Do you know how to do that? I can explain if not, it's very easy.

To save time it's...

Open the spread sheet. Press the print screen button on the keyboard. Open MS Paint. Click paste. Then save that image. Once saved, you can upload it to your album.

It will end up looking like this...

Thank you. How do I share an excel spreadsheet without loosing its format. I have documented every part with nissan part numbers that is needed to install the factory supercharger on the VG33. If anyone wants it I can email to them.

I Can post a screen shot but there are a lot of parts and you cant copy and paste from a pic. It makes part hunting very difficult.

I'm not sure there is a way to post an excel spreadsheet Dave. I'd post screen shots. Interested parties just may have to do some of their own leg work. Which is a good thing imho.

Im not sure how much power. I need to dyno it but not until I get headers and the exhaust finished. Then I will have to tune my Aem piggyback. I do know that my X is 4600lbs and I went from being passed to passing everything but the gas station. It don't know what sounds better... the hum of the tires or the whine of the supercharger.

I will add the part matrix screen shot to my bucket album tomorrow and you're right, a little leg work wouldn't hurt.

Or if it is really complete (and you'd like to write a how-to), NICO can host the file so it will be available all the time (not just when you have dropbox open).

Sort of like I did here:

This is awesome!

Welcome aboard! I love the truck.

I bought a factory Xterra blower (I think they're M60s???) to put on my VG30e Maxima but the project never went anywhere because I was perhaps a bit overambitions and underprepared. Way cool to see your project happen!!

Well l have over 1000 miles on the supercharger and im running 87 with ethanol. I switched from 93 on the advice of race engine builder who told me that the 10% ethanol would be enough to stop detonation with 8.9:1 compression ratio. He was right. No detonation issues at all. I took it through the mountains in North Carolina all the way to Knoxville Tennessee (where I proposed to my girl friend...now Fiancee!). The X has a ton of torque. It aggressively powered its way up the hills in overdrive without gearing down. Just a little more petal and the boost gauge shot up to 5 psi. What a rush.
Just thought I would let y'all know.
Have a great day!

Over ambitious is what seperates us from mediocracy. So dont ever stop! Thanks for the compliment.
Its a Eaton M62. There is a Eaton M45. M62. M90 and a M112
The size is based on the volume the blower produces. The VG 30 is the base line from where the VG 33 came from. You would have to modify the lower plenum to fit the VG30 intake but the real challenge would be the fuel mapping, engine timing and dealing with boost. You could resurrect your build but you would need a piggy back ECU module or a stand alone and a good tuner. I would be happy to help you sort out the parts.

Actually, the VG33 intake bolts right up to the VG30, it's a common upgrade. Some guys also claim they get more HP off putting the S12 intake on somehow... There shouldn't have to be any mods to make the pathfinder intake work?

"Actually, the VG33 intake bolts right up to the VG30, it's a common upgrade"

That's cool, I knew the VG33 is a larger displacement VG30 but I wasn't sure how compatible they are with all the bolt on parts. Do you happen to know if the exhaust ports, spacing and bolt patterns the same? The headers are easier to find and i have a tig welder to modify them with.

The VG33ER lower intake manifold is different than the VG33E. The supercharged model (VG33ER) has 10 bolts for the lower plenum to bolt to the lower intake manifold and the naturally aspirated has only 5. The supercharger lower plenum 10 bolt holes only line up with 4 of the VG33E manifold holes. Just a FYI. I emailed WDRacing my excel spreadsheet of all the Part numbers to do the supercharger swap. Hes going to try to post it but no promises. You could ask him to send it to you or you can PM me your email address and I can send It to you.
