Why do you want to turn them off? That's the one thing I hate about driving in the U.S. No DRL's.It's so much safer. You can see oncoming traffic so much better, especially at dusk, or in bad weather.Nothing pi$$es me off more than people driving in bad/rainy weather without their lights on.Bottom line: Having your lights on is not about seeing better. It's about being seen better.naladude911 wrote:The car is made to Canadian specifications so it has DRL's,
1. How do I delete the DRL's?
I love the rims on my truck (made it look like a completely new vehicle), but they do weigh more than stock (especially with the upped size in tire).naladude911 wrote:So dont get any of those rims?
LOL, in the conditions you mentioned you a supposed to turn your lights on anyways...Buzzman wrote:

You and I agree on that 100%, and a majority of people do (turn their lights on).Unfortunately, there are also too many people that don't, either because they're lazy, arrogant, or just plain stupid. That's where DRL's save lives.PoorManQ45 wrote:

I guess I kinda hijacked the original topic (sorry), so I'll make one last observation re: DRL's, and then leave it alone.I agree with all the comments regarding driving with no headlights on. However, I don't think stupid drivers or DRL's are entirely to blame. On older cars (like my Pathy), the dash lights only come on when I turn on my headlights (or parking lights). I only have to see a dark dash to realize that my lights are off.Newer cars (like my Altima), have the instrument panel permanently lit up.Whenever I see someone driving with no lights, it's always in a late model car. When I pull up along side and look in, their dash is always fully lit. It's very easy to think that you have your headlights on. I've done it in my Altima a few times. I put partial blame for the problem on the manufacturers.Over and out on this topic, for now.Qxxx4 wrote:id have to agree with the DRL topic....i see too many people with their DRLs driving in the city at night. They see the reflection of their lights in traffic on the car in front, but are too dumb to realize the rear tails have no light, it really pisses me off.
Nala, stop asking stupid questions!!!naladude911 wrote:lol stupid drivers. Seriously, how do I change my parking lights? Do i take out the whole housing
