I need some info on the 240sx GTR

Hello, I am buying a 1993 240sx GTR. So I have been looking on the Internet for what is the difference between the GTR one and the standard one and I couldn't even find it. I haven’t gotten the car yet but its stock. It has a black and red GTR sign on the hood and it has 240sx and GTR powered on the back, it was dark each time I went to look at the car and the only thing I noticed about the engine is that it is fuel injected. If someone can tell me more it would really be appreciated.

You probably can't find any info on the GTR because there is no such thing as a GTR 240sx. It came in 2 trims; LE and SE, with LE being lower and SE being the one with more options. Sounds like you are buying it from someone who is into the "visual" aspect of modding. All 240s are fuel injected, by the way.And to change the "Driving Mom's Car", you just have to post more. Yea i first thought that the owner just slaped some exetas on but it looks normal eexept for the gtr logo on the back where the normal one should be.

The story behind this car is:well for starters im in Dubai at the moment a place where you see about 30 - 50 Porches a day if your out on the weekend. so these people have a lot of money. the previos owner had over 10 sports cars and acording to him he had "forgoten about the 240sx" so he put it up for sale. He didnt use it much since he was the only pervios owner and the car only has 70000km on it and it is a 1993 modle!

thanks, yea it looks like new still, like i said it wasnt really used. o and it is 70000km that is about 43000miles

thats weird, it looks like he took the "240 sx" decal off from between the tail lights, and put it up on the trunk lid, unless for some reason it came like that in that country.

Gotta represent here. :pface XE was the ONLY coupe available in 89/90. The hatchback was an SE by default in those years. The XE would not apply to that coupe because of its year (XE stopped after 90) because 91-93 coupes were only available SE or base. LE is hatch (and 97/98 S14) thing only.

As for my geographical ignorance - I *thought* that's where Dubai was, but I though S13's were only badged "240SX" in the U.S....Oh well, learning all the time I suppose.

Ok i found out some stuff the middle east has its own product lines, like the cars in europe and americas car differ, so mabe that is just want they caled on of the modles of the 240sx "gtr". i know that happens a lot because there are lots difrences in names and modles avalable between here and south africa (that is where im from) and i have seen a high preformance lance here on the market which also doesn't exist. im not saying its not baging but we will see next week when i get the car. oh and i dont think ill take the hood scoop off it looks really good and that one is the only 240sx i have seen here. you dont really see cars older than 1999 here so any thing older than that is considered anciant by the locals.
