I need some info on the 240sx GTR

yea ive been in florida my girlfriend is staying there at the moment. About the gtr stuff it looks good and i think i have the only 240sx in the country anyway so.

it aint rice if its original. well usually. most rwd nissan cars seem to have a tough time in bad weather or off road. i hear the bmw guy complain about it all the time to. they say there is no way a 240 is worse on snow than a 540. man what a nice car. ill trade you.

Desertrat , a LSD will help you on sand

Without LSD, your 240 is pretty much 1-real-wheel drive

hmm....not to doubt anyone here, but I have some friends from Arabia and well, let's just say that it's car heaven. So pop the hood and take some pics....you may just find "godzilla" underneath it.

It's been wrecked.. bumper looks like a replacement one that does not line up correctly.. also, not sure about it, but isn't there supposed be a stripe be on each side of the fender? [near the bumper and near the door, see the pic below]

Looks more to be the headlight is not aligned than the bumper, I think. The left headlight (in the picture) has more equal space on all sides, while the right one is a bit shifted to the right. Not sure about the stripe though.. could have been in a wreck. Do they have the VIN system over there? You could check it out that way.

Yea i saw the light is not allined but i havent had time to fix it. oh and it just says "gtr powered" and the engine revs a lot higher that it is soposet to. my theory is that the previos owner took it to nissan and asked them to tune the engine or something like that. you wont believe what happened i just washed the car and when i looked at the car i saw a dent and somone scrached there name into the paint! (non of that was there earyer today)

Yeah.. prolly had something reprogramed, but you're really pushing your luck with going that high.. that looks to me like a totally stock engine, not really made to handle near 8k rpm.. I know it's saved my *** a few times when I first got the car, would go from 3rd to 2nd or 5th to 2nd [one time!], I was newb w/ the 240 shifting, but it just shot to 7k and didnt go over.. car still works like a champ
