There's a sample of one about 1/4 of the way down this thread, it's been removed and tagged to the motor set.

i can promise you there was no 240sx "GTR" ever produced anywhere on earth. that's a generic aftermarket badge pasted on the back of the car you can buy almost anywhere for $5. the skyline is the only nissan car with a "GTR" designation.

I know nothing about what they offered overseas, but I'd be inclined to agree with you. It doesn't mean this guy ddin't add the badges after making it his version of a GTR. Also, didn't other countries get something other than the KA?

The S13 came with the CA18/SR20 everywhere other than North America I believe. And nothing short of an RB26 and AWD will constitute a "GT-R" badge, period. :)

Just snap some pics of the engine bay, interior and exterior and we'll be happy. Most people can identify what engine it is via pictures. And like Rex said, see if you can get a look at, or better yet, a picture of the the firewall plate.

I would change "your car" in your profile because there is no such thing as 240sx GTR. There are a few people in the US that are swapping parts with an R32 to get an RB26DETT AWD system to get a mini Skyline feel. If this car was availible there would be talk just to import the car vs. getting an R32 front clip imported and and all the the work to be put into the 240. Doesn't make much sense unless the guy did all that to his car. As SEVA said the GTR emblem is designated to an AWD Nissan powered by an RB26DETT

It's actually a pretty good motor. It's a 4 cylinder obviously, 2.4 Liter, 155hp (if I recall correctly), quite a bit of torque and with the right set up, it can be pretty potent. It's strong too. Go to the left of this screen and scroll down to engine talk and click on the KA24E and those guys will know a whole lot. Anyone feel free to add and correct me if necessary.

long lasting truck engine. designed as a grocery getter that can be neglected with no problems. i have seen soooo many sludged all up from 20,000 mi oil changes and they just keep on running. not a high revving engine though.

keep your eyes open when your in Dubai. There are some high rolling guys out there that will sell incredible cars for crazy low prices. I was there for about 6 months and saw all kind of lux. cars for crazy cheep. YOu can probably get that car for less if you haggle. They love to haggle.

Dubai is one place I've wanted to go for a long time. It's kind of crazy how most of us think that there is nothing in the middle east except sand. Yet, there are places like Dubai, and Lebanon from years ago, that are just gorgeous. It's also a very modern city. Because it's so young, yet so rich most of the city is less than a few decades old. It's the home of the world's first 6 star hotel. Desertrat, have you seen it? It looks pretty amazing on TV. Why are you there? And how long are you staying? PEACE. Tek.

The hotel is called the burj al arab, i live close to it, it looks sweet. You wont beleve how much money these people have i just went to the mall with my dad to do the shoping and we were looking to see if there were any old cars in the parking lot and the oldest ans around 95. But in that same parking lot there was a s2000, 3 sl55 amg, 13 porches, and i can go on for ever. Ok anyway me and my dad are here alone at the moment im in school and my dad is one of the directors of a prity big company here in the UAE, and ill stay for another year till im done with school, but i have been living in the middle east for 7years only 8 months in dubai so far thow.
