Spark plugs are around 16 to 25 lbs...I think it shows on the box... U can put a bit of anti seize on the threads and make sure none gets on electrode. On the side where u put the spark plugs u can put some dielectric grease

I think I'm going to have to see some pictures or something... the distances for all the suspension components should be the same between the 2 cars... unless one was in an accident or something.

will a wiring harness that has been spliced for an s13 redtop work on an s13 blacktop without any changes or will there need to be some splicing done?

I checked all the connections, they were all better than most of the connections I've seen in the car, so I got a fuel pump from napa, and installed it.wouldn't ya know, it worked.however, it started sputtering when i got to my parking lot (college campus)there was a small hose on the stock one with a small filter on the bottom that went from the top of the stock pump to the bottom and looked like it would suck up fuel or something, the new one didn't have the same thing with it, but on the top of the new one was a male end connection to what may have been the same idea for that pump, but it didn't come with it, and the stock one had an extra male end connection that looked similar to it so i figured it was the same thing on the new one. and the hose wouldn't fit he new one.any idea what that hose is, and if i may actually need it on the new pump?

here's what i'm talking about

the top of the stock fuel pump, the long male end with the copper fitting is where the hose connected to

here's what it looks like on the top of the new one, with the positive and negative connections too of course

here's the hose I'm talking about

howdy yall!! hahaIm going to look at a 1991 s13 hb for sale saturday and the owner says that the clutch works backwards. Im thinking that he means that u leave the clutch out to put it in gear and push the clutch in while driving. I was wondering if any of you could give me some insight on what theis problem may be and what the cost of fixing it could be?Thank you in advance

Well, apparently, something is backward, but I have no idea what. Sounds like an install error where someone is an idiot. Keep in mind, if this is rigged, expect to find other problems after driving the car for a couple months because of some shortcuts or ignorant mistakes..

Johnnie, that is unneeded with your aftermarket fuel pump... At least it is with the walbro... I'm not sure about your napa, but on the walbro you can either directly solder the wires in or you can plug in the butt connector and splice the wires together... So there are 2 extra connections. 1 POS and 1 NEG

I changed the fuel pump, sometimes it will run well, other times it will die when i put in the clutch.I don't think that's a good sign with a new fuel pump.sometimes it sputters in low gears and lags, sometimes it works nicely.the check engine light just came on too when it was having sputtering problems.

any ideas???

Seems as if your car doesn't like to idle. What engine are you running? If it's an SR20 and you have your bov set up atmospheric, try recirculating it. You can also check MAF and TPS. A bad fuel pump won't work fine when driving and then cause it to die during idle.

This only makes a cosmetic difference. Which do you like to look of better? That's the answer to your question.

another noob question

Im in a tight budget and my single cam is giving me too much trouble. I want to get a sr20 but I need my car to be more of a daily driver. So Im thinking of getting a twincam and rebuilding it.

My question is is a twincam reliable enough to be a daily driver and still and fun with it, and is there a mojor difference between a 2cam from a s13 and s14?

thank

supposedly, Coupes are lighter and have a slightly more rigid chassis, but hatches have a slightly better coefficient of drag...

I'm not sure about the pignose, but the 91-94 S13 had ABS as an option, which was packaged with a limited slip differential.

I have a question if you don't mind PapaSmurf2k3 how much did it cost you to set up KA-T and did you have a shop do it or you did it yourself? Trying to get an idea of my project. Been talking with some people that did almost full package on they're 240 putting like over 20k and still ran like crap barely lasted a week for drifting.

I've had problems with the idle since I got it, but more recently it hasn't been giving me any issues. it's got a KA24e. It's been driving fine (for the most part) all weekend. I'm just not 100% confident about it right now.

there are both, however, scan tool service was prohibited about a year ago here. They don't do it even if you were to pay them

It's REALLY close to that. I just measured for you.
