Hey Tina.

So, Im getting my new laptop this week.

Since it will be my personal computer, and my wife wont need to be using it, I plan to install a Linux based OS.

Any of you guys ever used Fedora or Ubutu?

On another note, who here is going to either carlisle or nashville...i'm going to both this year..who from the learned'd crew will be there.

You can count me in for Carlisle at least, tho I think this time I am gonna try to get my own room. (I snore after drinking, LOUDLY somtimes... ) I am sure that they didn't like that last time, lol.

Nashville is a bit far and expensive for my meager budget methinks. Getting that much vacation is gonna be tough, too.

See, Ive been stuck with Windows since just after high school. My wife would have a very difficult time switching so for her sake Ive sucked it up and dealt with windows.

Now that Im switching to a new machine, its time to switch back.

Its been so long since Ive muddled in Linux that Im looking for a little friendly support.
