Yeah, that's what I'm noticing. It would be cool to have an RB26DETT-powered z. I'll go ahead and keep dreaming about that for a while...

Edit: fat-fingered and missed the 6 and hit 5, my bad.

as soon as little league baseball is done (barring my sons don't make the all star team) I want to have the engine pulled by July

Lol, I know

I was coaching only one team, next thing you know, the league is like "we really could use your help with your other sons team"

I'm at the field almost every day it seems.

soon as both my older boys move up, I get to do it all over again in tee-ball. That was by far the worst, not so much with my kids, but everyone elses. Picking grass and playing in the dirt while they catch a ball in face, then me having to administer first aid is not my idea of a good time.

We had another coach that forgot to hold the kids bat as he put the ball on the tee..........*WHAM* the kid came around and swung taking out 4 of the dads teeth.

my rb has the same forged bottom end that the 26 has. itb conversion isn't all that hard and i'd have the stock manifold to hack up if i wanted to go that route. while it would be cool to boast having a gt-r engine, it's not worth it imo. you want big numbers? go rb30.

Talk about turning the old z into a death-trap. But I wonder how much harder it would be to fit the 30 than the 25/26.

I feel like the same thing happens with umping for me...I'm here doing my thing, helping out...and then WHAM. I get an email telling me I've been scheduled for 4 games on saturday, 2 hours after the "what's your availiabilty" email that I never answered. Seriously, wtf.

no difference at all. actually, you'd only need the block and the rb25 head so you can retain dohc. i tossed around the idea for a while, but getting an rb30 block over here was more hassle than i was willing to deal with as i know no one in wallaby land.

I've got a better idea, I'll keep an eye out for the rb30 block with an rb26dett head. Mostly cause I have a boatload of cash laying around... I wish.

Almost all remakes nowadays are butchered. Either way, I'll still be seeing it.
