Another satisfying day of break-as$ work.

This time I was probably the highest paid concrete guy on the planet. Learned a new style of mixing involving a plastic drop cloth and two people, it works the best and is really easy to clean up, too. The guy who taught it to me was Armenian, I don't understand how all Armenian people look the same. :chuckle:

Highly recommend

I'm currently rocking that on my netbook. It tracks on anything, including glass and currently my couch armrest.

That's actually the exact one I was looking at when I was ready to buy the laptop.

It's kind of pricey... yet it looks so worth it.

I would probably get the full size version though. $100... ouch.

What do you consider the full-size version? Logitech has multiple larger MX mice with the Darkfield laser (which is what allows for the tracking on glass - and I just checked, it tracks well on even a water bottle).

I've got a really nice Logitech from Office Depot.

Look at that. I found it. Works good on arm rests and even bed sheets. Very reliable mouse for the money. I've dropped it a few times and it still works perfectly. Though, I think it needs new batteries. It's been laggy lately. I haven't put new batteries in it. It's still got the batteries I originally put in it. These batteries have lasted since last October. Just goes to show you how good Duracell batteries are.

That one.

I'll look into the others. I know I want a full size one from that series.

Otto, I have that one on my desktop. Great mouse. Battery life is somewhat short though. I think I recharge mine every 7 or 10 days (roughly depending on usage). If I used it at work I'd probably need to recharge every other day or so. It is probably the most comfortable mouse I've ever owned though. The darkfield laser is awesome, and hyper scrolling wheels are amazing. It makes scrolling through long web pages/excel files a breeze to scroll through.

God damn. Those mice are expensive. Why get such an expensive mouse?

I've got teh Gir's mouse on my laptop. Either of the two I posted smoke that one (though I wouldn't call the V450 a bad mouse, the MX with darkfield are just better). I think I have the MX 1100 at work (but that has no darkfield and is a bit bulkier than the mouse you're looking at). But the MX1100 battery (only one) lasts a lot longer, though isn't rechargeable. My vote would be the $100 one you were looking at, unless you are looking for portability then I would suggest the first one I posted.

Yeah, I'll definitely look into buying one.

Because they are good quality and have cool features.

Cause they track better. The V450 is nowhere near the level of the darkfield. Easily works on mirrors/glass. The ultimate in anywhere-usage.

True. I mean my Logitech is good quality, it just doesn't have a sh*tload of features. All I really need is good battery life and side scrolling just in case somebody decides to break the Learned'd, which my mouse currently has.

Dude, once you try a hyper-scrolling wheel, you'll never go back. The forward/back thumb buttons are also a nice touch (though that can't be configured on Linux which is what I run almost exclusively).

Meh. I don't need forward and back thumb buttons, but hyperscrolling seems like an epic idea. Maybe when this mouse breaks, I'll invest in a better Logitech mouse with hyperscrolling.

I've got five and all of them have been excellent. Until Logitech starts releasing crappy products, I'll probably not switch to a different brand mouse.
