I'm talking about not living by yourself and having no other bills. With a HOUSE you definitely couldn't live off of$13/hr. Hell, you need to be making above $25/hr to live comfortably.

$1000 in bills. Wow, that would be nice.

That post wasnt there when I posted. I agree with that now. And yes, I could drastiaclly reduce my current standard of living to get lower bills (ie: sell car, no internet or tv, etc) I was just basing it off of my current standards though.

Same here. Takes 30 seconds to load a NICO page, I think it's the server going through more modification.

LoL A car site going through mods. Greg really can't leave any non-living thing stock can he?

I completely agree with you in your perspective too. I don't know if I can afford a condo my first year when I get settled into my career, but I sure as hell am going to try. I'm tired of living with mom and dad.

This, plus all the other crap I buy that I don't *really* need. $20/hr and below would really begin to cramp my style.

I mean, I know as a military member, I have a lot of stuff provided to me that most people don't, but funds still get tight. I can't really break my pay down by hour, though, because I am technically always on the clock. I know I make like 21K a year with housing provided.

It really is all in what you do with it though. You could make all the money in the world, but if you piss it away like I tend to it wont make a bit of difference.

Dude, you military folks don't get paid alot. What's hilarious about this is the fact that AAFES and NEX charge a HUGE amount for their items and the tax free just doesn't cut it sometimes. Plus alot of them have a slum variety of wares to purchase.

People go into the military thinking, "Hey! I'll get paid alot of money while I'm in the military!" WRONG! The reason they seem to have alot of money is when they get sent overseas, it's not taxed and they have nothing to spend it on but booze, drugs, and sex, which in other countries, isn't alot compared to US standards. While here in the US, sometimes their housing is completely paid off, most standardly just partial, which is still good, but they're still getting paid very little.

Sadly, this is very true. I know I don't have the stones to make that kind of a commitment, so I think those that do should have the benefit of actually earning some decent money. It'd be nice if the country would give a bit more support to them.

Depends on the woman. Pick the wrong one and you'll end up in the poorhouse. That can also be said for men.

I would much rather have one purse, four pairs of shoes and a garage full of cool antiques than a closet full of clothes I don't need.

Well, I do have (admittedly) unreasonably high standards, so it's probably not an issue either way.

From what little I know of you, I don't think I'd lump you in with the "average woman".

Too many smilies. And for some reason it annoys me that they all wave in synchronization.
