I would have if I wasn't at work. He's taking a nap now. I have to wait until he gets up around 9:45ish until I can give a BJ

But I found me some grapes and they are delicious. And I need to get some chicken and beef for stir fry. Cajun-style. I know. I'm mixing styles. Sue me. It tastes yummy.

I still have to make dinner, but I'm not moving too well. Kinda sore from the gym. I'm so out of shape it's not even funny. I guess that's what I get for being lazy for like the last four months. Seems I'll probably still be a fat tub of sh*t for Carlisle. Oh well, I made the bed and now I've gotta sleep in it.

And what a h0m0. I'd let a chick wake me up for a beej any day. As long as she was cool with me falling back to sleep immediately after.

You should make me food. I haven't had any non-galley/non-fast food meals in so long it's not even funny. I honestly can't remember my last home-cooked meal.

Hah, he'd LET me wake him up, but I'd feel bad about it. He has to work tonight and I don't think he's gotten much sleep today. I'll wait until he's up getting ready for work and ninja my way in.

Speaking of working out... it's been raining for like.. 3 days straight. Haven't been able to run. Sigh. I mean, I GUESS I could.. but I can't run at night for fear of getting abducted... which is a strong possibility here, so I've been told.

ANYWAY. Help me whittle my tummy. Give me tips.

I love running in the rain. I probably prefer it to nice weather.

Aren't you painfully skinny as it is? How much help could you possibly need? As a chick it's pretty easy. Just take in less calories than you burn. For you, losing more than one pound per week would be unhealthy. So, weigh yourself at regular times (you weigh less when you first wake up because you're dehydrated, so don't compare morning weight to weight before bed). Then, if you're staying stable on the weight for like a week or two, cut your intake back a bit.

Keep doing cardio as that will help you burn the calories you're taking in. And definitely look at lifting weights. Without testosterone, you're not going to bulk up huge. But, you will build muscle and get toned. In turn, that muscle will help burn more calories even while you're sitting at rest.

FWIW, it took me like a year to dial in a good diet where I know that I'm getting the nutrients I need and sitting at roughly the right caloric intake. But, my metabolism sucks, so I have a hard time leaning out too much. I really want to have a solid six (maybe eight?) pack sometime this summer.

To be honest, I probably don't eat as many calories as I should. I eat what, a bowl of cereal in the morning? Egg whites at lunch with English muffin, and whatever I cook at home for dinner. I should probably adjust what I eat. I don't eat a lot, but what I am eating probably isn't the exact best for me. I could refine it.

And I'm not really looking for a number. I don't care what I weigh, because I know I'm not fat, I just don't want to be squishy, know what I mean? Firm up? Tone? Whatever.

Edit: The help I need is just information, I suppose. What's good, what's bad, what I should I be doing to get more toned? Saying "use weights" is different than saying "use these weights in this way 5 reps" etc. I don't the first thing in HOW to change my body besides "eat right" and "exercise". But what does that entail?

I'm with Michelle. I don't know the first thing about what to eat, how to exercise, ect. That's bad cuz I'm in the military, but we never really get in-depth on how to take care of yourself. We just get beat on.

First, I apologize if this gets long. And let me preface the following with I am not an expert. I am no nutritionist. This is just based off of what works for me. Since everyone is different, your results may differ.

Food - Eat more meals more often, but keep them small. It is healthy to eat between 6-7 small meals throughout the day (say every three hours or so). You wont get to the point of feeling full, but you wont ever really be hungry. This helps speed your metabolism.

A generally accepted target is a 40/40/20 breakdown of protein/carbs/fat based on calories. One gram of protein or carbs nets 4 calories. One gram of fat nets 9. So do the math (estimation is ok) on what you're eating and try to stay close to that range. Personally, I eat a lot of lean beef (like ground sirloin that is 95% lean), tuna and chicken. I also supplement my protein with whey protein shakes. My meals tend to be boring as hell (like tuna with tomatoes, onions and broccoli with maybe some chili powder for flavoring - I actually eat that roughly 10 times a week). Egg whites are also a good source of protein. Carbs can be had from brown rice and sweet potatoes. Try to stay away from sugar for carbs (no candy/pop). Whole grain pasta is also good. White potatoes and plain pasta or white rice are not as good for carbs as what was previously mentioned. Your cereal can also be good as long as it isn't a variety loaded with sugar. Healthy fats come from nuts (love me some almonds - plus I think they reduce appetite a bit too for an added bonus) or EVOO or even the fat content in the meat. Stear clear of lards/butter/candy for fats.

I like to snack on almonds (like I said) or peanut butter if I can afford the extra fat for the day. If not, I try to go to beef/turkey jerky. Also, feel free to eat right before bed. It is a common myth that this will make you fat, but if you plan it into your caloric intake for the day, it is completely false. You're not eating for the 5-10 hours (I have no idea how long you sleep) that you're in bed, so your body is essentially starved. Keeping the amount of time you starve yourself down helps again to speed up your metabolism.

As far as lifting goes, for women I would generally recommend lower weight and higher reps (like 20-30 reps for maybe 3-5 sets). Your bf has free weights (I seen 'em), so you can even use the plates instead of buying dumbbells. There are tons of good lifts to do. You can do curls with maybe 5-10 pounds or triceps extensions (hold the plate in your hand and curl your hand behind your head, then straighten your arm all while keeping your elbow stationary above your head). Feel free to use the bench as well, but it probably wouldn't be worthwhile to lift more than the bar. Hit legs too as they contain some of the larger muscles in your body (lunges, squats, etc - all can be done with some extra weight - maybe 20 pounds - if you feel up to it). Running/jump rope/etc will not only burn calories, but can also develop some of those leg muscles. Push ups, sit ups/crunches, pull ups (if you have a bar) are all good and wont cost you a gym membership.

Remember, it is not naturally possible to spot-reduce fat. So if you feel you've got an area that is too "soft", working the muscles under that area wont help remove the fat. That's what eating healthy and cardio would be for. Good call on not watching the scale, as it can be deceiving. I generally pay little attention to it, but gauge results off what I see in the mirror.

Hopefully this helps a bit, but hit me up via email or something if you have more questions and I will try to answer them. I don't want to bore everyone else to tears. Also, IMO it seems like you do eat relatively healthy, so you're probably not too far off.

I hate allergies as well. Claritin does work for me though, but I try to use it only sparingly.

you know sex burns alot of calories......

but hey, since you already do some jogging and some cardi the best advice i cna give is to watch what your eating, It doesn't matter what you eat, but really how much, and what's in it.if you wana cut back on fats you can 1, get taller. (lol go through puberty again)2,eat foods high in fiber,( it fills you quickly, and prevents you from over eating)3, stop eating foods with little to no nutritional value. ( little tidbit for ya, say a chip per haps or maybe ice cream. do they ever fill you, no because they have little or no nutrients or fibers. You can eat 5 bags of chips, a carton of ice cream, and any light snack (with no n.v.) and stil not be full, compaired to eating say a whole wheat bagel with some lettuce, tomatoes, turkey, and chicken for lunch, it'll leave you full longer.

4, eat, Don't starve yourself, fasting or preventing yourself from inhaling an abundance of food (or any food for that matter) is actually a BAD thing, (so i've been told) because onc your body does not get enough it starts to use the stored fats that your body has, (good thing? maybe.) If you want smaller breasts, hips, thighs, and those love handles gone, but realize they're gonna go in that order. and sometimes you'll lose cup sizes and still keep your hips.

what else can i offer you besides saying that once you start to get a routine going of healthy fiberous foods you'll notice certain things start to drop High blood pressure for example. And don't forget to treat yourself to a desert AFTER you've eaten your meal. not before, because if you start to get low on sugars, your body is going to crave it, and you going to want to "pig out on chocolates"

and if you want to get rid of something from your body, if you think you can take it, cut it off cold turkey, but if you cant slowly wein yourself from it. or eat so much of it that you'll never want a next serving of it.

Crap, I just noticed that in the site, it says to get blood tests, which is what I'm doing tomorrow morning. Possible causes are: cancer, mono, syphilis, and hepititis. Mono and syphilis is ruled out because I haven't been with a woman in a LONG time and the symptoms of this allergy started back in November, when I got my 2nd hep B vaccine. Cancer runs in my family. I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep tonight...

Same here. I can't eat anything or drink anything for the next 12 hours. I really hope it's nothing major, because my insurance that I thought was cancelled when I left my previous job, actually gets cancelled the 1st of April. If it's something major, I'm really f***ed.
