Ant, your truck is way too sexy.

EDIT: The above statement is a lie. There is no such thing as "too sexy."

The flooding is crazy here. Apparently the bridge downtown is under water along with most of downtown itself.

A bridge washed away in CT.

That's crazy! That Nala wasn't there to try and plow it and wash away!

Michele - You are not fat. I can say that because I weigh more than you and I have been told I'm not fat either. Here's the thing. We just have to consume less calories than we use during the day. As far as exercising inside, use your own body for resistance. Do push ups, sit ups, lunges, things like that. It won't make you lose a crap ton of weight but it will help tone your muscles. <<Pull ups are harder for women because our upper bodies are naturally not as strong as men's.>>

Pink car is ghey, but you can have your card back as long as you promise to never post that pic again.

Boy do I sound like an idiot for asking:Is it bad to step on the clutch pedal and I'm coming to a stop? I usually coast to a stop, but I leave it in gear and stay on the clutch.

you don't really hurt anything if the clutch is fully depressed....

when coming to a stop however.... what you SHOULD do is more complicated

here's a basic look at it:

to save the transmission.... you should shift into neutral and take your foot off the clutch... but this works the brakes more

to save the brakes... you should downshift (gear brake) the car and then use the brakes for the final stop

to combine the two (optimal idea).... rev match downshift through the gears while keeping your foot on the brake... YES! this means you should heel toe (or big toe little toe) your pedals when you stop

No, why would it be?I do that too sometimes.Don't be so paranoid! Manual transmissions are simple y0!

I usually blip the gas and engage the clutch when I want to downshift to slow down. I can't heel toe, my brain won't let me.

I heard that if I'm stepping on the clutch to a stop, I'm wearing out a bearing or springs.

Not all the time. I'm still having trouble every now and again with rev matching.
