Pink car is ghey, but you can have your card back as long as you promise to never post that pic again.Ace2cool wrote:

He may need it revoked again. :P
you don't really hurt anything if the clutch is fully depressed....krimsonviper wrote:Boy do I sound like an idiot for asking:Is it bad to step on the clutch pedal and I'm coming to a stop? I usually coast to a stop, but I leave it in gear and stay on the clutch.
No, why would it be?I do that too sometimes.Don't be so paranoid! Manual transmissions are simple y0!krimsonviper wrote:Boy do I sound like an idiot for asking:Is it bad to step on the clutch pedal and I'm coming to a stop? I usually coast to a stop, but I leave it in gear and stay on the clutch.

I usually blip the gas and engage the clutch when I want to downshift to slow down. I can't heel toe, my brain won't let me.PEZi720 wrote:you don't really hurt anything if the clutch is fully depressed....
when coming to a stop however.... what you SHOULD do is more complicated
here's a basic look at it:
to save the transmission.... you should shift into neutral and take your foot off the clutch... but this works the brakes more
to save the brakes... you should downshift (gear brake) the car and then use the brakes for the final stop
to combine the two (optimal idea).... rev match downshift through the gears while keeping your foot on the brake... YES! this means you should heel toe (or big toe little toe) your pedals when you stop
Not all the time. I'm still having trouble every now and again with rev matching.Razi wrote:No, why would it be?I do that too sometimes.Don't be so paranoid! Manual transmissions are simple y0!
