I Got my Apexi N1 Duals!!!!!!

I'm sorry guys... I don't mean to throw it in anyone's face but I am really excited and offcourse.. I have to share this with you as well.... My friend picked up the exhaust for me yesterday and dropped it off at my place. I went home and took a few pictures of it while it's sitting in it's box. I am going to try to install it ASAP! here are some pic's of it:

naw... I got home at 9:30pm... I didn't want to take it all out of the box as of yet. I will take it out when I install it. I want to install it this weekend but I have a lot of **** going on. and now I will have to go buy 4 jack-stands... so we'll see... but I am damn shure this will be on the car in a week! imma see if one of my friends will do it at his shop (he works at one of the repair shops) so I can have him help me do it for free or like a 6 pack or something ya kno! (cheaper than buying 4 jack-stands =)

Congrats on the exhaust, you will love it. I got mine over the summer, all I did was jack up the rear end and put it on Jack stands. It was easy to install, other than the bolts that I broke off the resonator. If you need any help let me know I did mine in about an hour, but I also didn'thave my kit on yet. Well good luck and I'm sure you will be happy with it.

so when you installed it... dod you put together the whole exhaust and then bolt it up or did you bolt up one part and then bolt up the second part!?!

also breaking the bolts is what I am very affraid of!! I don't want to do that... what did you do when you broke the bolt?

I put it together in two pieces. Although it may be easier to do in one. When I broke the bolts, I just drilled them out, and bought new bolts. I was a pain, i would just cover them with some WD 40 and let it sit before you start.

All in all Installation was easy.

You will love the sound of the exhaust, it's got a nice deep grumble, but not too loud, sounds almost like a tuned race car. All my friends want an exhaust that has the same sound, they all love it.

I haven't seen any but I have heard that they add anywhere from 8~12 hp... don't know but it sure does sound legit... especially after seeing the exhaust in person!!

It is a damn sweet exhust. Install is a cake walk. If you don't want to buy jack stands, find some railroad ties or other stout lumber instead.

I would suggest cutting the studs off the cat and drilling new holes in the flange. Mine were so rusted that you couldn't even tell where the nuts were! It was like two piles of rust on the edge of the flange.

I installed the rear section first, just using the rubber hangers, and holding the front muffler up with a jack stand. Then bolted the front section loosely to the cat (using two new bolts, not the studs), and attached the two sections loosely. Then I secured the middle hanger bolt, and tightened the 4 bolts that connect the two sections. Finally I tightened the cat bolts and VIOLA!!!
