Not much. :( The intake I got for my birthday (Nov 24), so that expense was justified, and the only reason I got new speakers was because my fiance had just gotten paid and I was paid a couple of days later.

The FSTB and Eibachs I've had for a few months now. The rotors/pads were on at the same time I bought those two items but were paid for by the previous owner. :)

I'm only in the process of saving for the N1 dual. I'm about halfway there providing my fiance doesn't spend the money on something else (our bank account is joint).

Overall though I really am quite broke when it comes to buying for my car. The exhaust is probably still another month off. :(

It's all good Stick... It took me like 4 months to save up for the exhaust!

its nice, but God damn its so friggin loud. I had one on my civic with custom piping, but I wasn't really happy with it, so I opted to get the cat-back, which is definetly the way to go. Now the other one's just sitting in the garage, probably gonna put it on ebay or something.

BTW black240, good luck with the install bud. Like your car needs to be any nicer anyways.........;)

according to the motor vehicle act of british columbia, a turbo actually counts as a muffler here.

You'd be better off buying the N1 muffler and having custom pipes made. By the time you finished your "reworking" the pipes would be ruined.

Stick, just get the muffler and have custom piping made. It'll cost a lot less. Plus when I got mine done it was mandrel bent, so I paid about half the price of a catback system and with no performance difference.

Wing...even a catback on a Civic will sound like crap. Same exhaust on a 240 sounds completely different. My friend has a N1 on his Civic, and the same exhaust on a 240 sounds drastically different.

The different sound is due in part to the different engine size. 240 is a 2.4, and most civics are 1.6 or 1.8 not sure. Thats why the 240 has much deeper sound.

Wow nice to hear that everyone is recieving their exhausts. According to UPS, my S13 n1 dual will be at more doorstep by Friday. I ordered it from Enjuku Racing about 2 months ago, and FINALLY it's coming! What sucks is that it's going to be raining in my area this whole next week.. dunno if I can install it this weekend. I'm SO EXCITED THOUGH!

lets see those pics! I love your wheels by the way, but you REALLY need some spacers for the rear. ;)I'm getting a GT-Spec from Daunt in feb some time, not putting it on til I clear up the tickets I already have (the cops in my town are ****s and I'll get pulled over with the gt-spec for sure). What's the deal with everyone wanting the dual N1 over the GT-spec? Enjuku has them both for practically the same price, why would someone wait weeks for the dual n1 instead of getting the gt-spec? (am I missing something here?).

Is the Apexi n1 turbo exhaust your refering to, just the larger diameter piping? Or do they actually sell a separtely designed turbo N1?

GROUND CLEARANCE!!!....i was gonna get the GT Spec until i saw a pic and it's crazy low, no point in the better performance if it's gonna get ripped off by a pot-hole....i'm planning on boosting soon so i'm thinking about a N1 single turbo cat-back and running a test pipe.....anyone know the size of the piping on the N1 single turbo cat-back? and is the N1 single and the N1 single turbo the same exhaust?

I know that the N1 turbo has a 3 inch inlet, where as the regular N1 is 2.50 - 2.75, not sure though.

n1 single NA tip is 90mm, n1 single TURBO tip is 115mm i think...

The fact is... ... for all the N1 dual buyers.... with the desidn of the n1 dual it's very quiet when idling and daily driving.... when you punch it, it sounds wonderful..... if your car is not turboed but is going to be, you might as well get the 3 inch exhaust and deal with the slight loss of low end torque untill you get the turbo... even tho you lose some low end torque you still gain a MOFO load of hp in the mid a high rpm range and it supposedly pulls like Bob Marley on a blunt....

Freak.

I may be wrong but I have heard that because of the dual pipes from the resonator back it is the same as having a 3 inch exhaust. I know a guy with a CA, and he has the N1 dual on his car, and it runs great with it.

see... N1 dual is a great exhaust because it works with NA application and when you go turbo... you keep the exhaust.. plus it looks more stock.. I don't like the huge can in the back... I like the look of a dual smaller cans...

It is possible, and that cold be the case but the area directly after the turbo turbine is where you need the most amount of flow and with the dual with smaller out piping will pinch the exhaust...

I wonder what k-car has to say about this?

Q: Will the n1 dual be suitable for fairly high boost applications its regular na form? Or would bigger piping be necessary?

What area are you talking about. Cause the N1 dual has about a 2 1/2 - 3 ft section after the second cat that is only 1 pipe, and the from there goes into a resonator and the y's out to two pipes. I'm not sure what your trying to say.

That 2.5 inch tubing may not be adequate enough for the turbo gases... the exhaust systems weakest link is where the pipe diameter is the smallest, or where there is more restriction... for turbo apps i think the having 3 inch piping instead of 2.5 inch piping is much better...
