and what the really bad thing about the Hyundai is that the resale sucks! You spend 42k this year and next its worth 20k?

That would be a in my Check Book!

I say get a G37 fully loaded and have more fun, Keeps its value, Has service to back the name, and status in society! But that is just me

I think I'll go for the 08g35X. Blue slate. I can get 4-5 k off. Also I'll go with lease first time in my life. My big boss would pay 300 a month in my lease and give me $40 Gascard/month. So if I sell my 07 I'll get to keep the money. It is a no brainer but still love the black too much. In the other hand I would drive a brand new car again.

Here is the one. I put the deposit on it. I asked 2 days to think about it.

The Genesis sedan seems more of a luxury sedan than a sports sedan.

But the Genesis Coupe will be all about performance.

Here's a Flicker set of it compared to the G37: http://flickr.com/photos/10728...56692/

ZoZo...

If some one else is going to pay for it! Wait for the G37 sedan! Get it in black! FTW And then get the x cause you need it and the S cause you want it!

Yes, yes I was considering it. It won't be that much off for the 09. It is an X. I need/love X. It is just all together so much off the price. Hard to say no. Also if I wait few more months my car gets older too. Right now it is less then 2 years old. 2 months from now will be over 2 years old.

Still not sure I have 1 more day to decide.

Performance is one thing but ownership is another thing.

Do you know what they give you if you take your car to service? You work for Hyundai right?

I asked them about the colors and options. They did not have it. It sells like cupcake man. That's the reason I put the deposit on the car. Here they had 15, 2 weeks ago now they are down to 2.

In the 2 years I did take it in once left it with them for 2 days. They gave me a loaner. Not many cars are as reliable as the Infiniti's. You have to be preperd. I can get a loaner even if I take it in for regular maintenance. I usually take out a 350 or something to burn(testdrive). hehehe

Believe me this are some of those segments where Hyundai can fail. They are not ready for this. I think. I could be wrong. But my and Gwoods experience were just like that. That was just a first impression when they try to sell something(or not). If they already sold it probably even worse.

Other think I thought is funny. How Hyundai try to advertise their car with aftermarket rims and low profile tires. Lowered etc. What do you think the people will think when they see that in real life. See the different between your picture and mine. he differences around 3k or more.

Time will tell how they will do. I would love to see them getting their part of the cake. The reason is simple. If there are more competitions the real winners are the costumers(WE).

Oh yeah, I don't doubt Infiniti's reliability. They're hanging right there along with Hyundai.

Still got some work to do to catch up to Lexus, though.

FTW I would still wait for the 09! You have the chance to get 30 more hp and a 7speed auto! Also an xS Beast!

It is a no brainer! Some one else is paying for it anyway! Who cares what you get for your old G... Just wait!

You would be the first to have an 09 G37 Loaded with xS... You get the 7speed and the big breaks! Plus in the long run you will be getting much better MPG

I think so lol... We talked far to much into how bad it is lmao! and their service really Sucks!

This lady friend of my mothers has an 06 Sonata! She has like an 18" wheel package all from the dealer! Two of the Kuhmo Tires have bubbles! I told her i would go down there and see about getting her two new tires under warranty!

I get there and Im standing at the counter in the service center and some one in the back yells

There is a man here waiting for service! Then he yells God Bless these idiots, then walks up to me and says is there something i can help you with? Im like no Im freaking standing here for my health!...

Then after like 10 more min of waiting he comes back and says you need to new tires! Im like ok put them on! the car has 6k miles on it thinking they should be covered under warranty. hes like that will be $342 plus tax!

Im like you got to be kidding me! Im like the tires aren't under warranty and he says to me well we are not an authorized kuhmo dealer! You need to look in your yellow pages for that! and then he walks away!

Well I did a burnout across the newly paved and painted service dept floor!

I hate their cars and their service! I think i would ride a horse to work before i drove a hyundai!

I still think that coupe that is coming out soon might be a small force to be reckoned with, the two options are both a win/win.

I'm sure people said that about Datsun and Nissan back in the day, now look at it.

Man I caught a cold and didn't get to go

My sister bought a Hyundai Santa Fe and they were invited to drive the V8 Genesis at PIR. I'll ask my Bro in law how it went.
