my god reading this entire head gave me a headache:D

if you want a really loud intake, might I suggest forced induction, it's the best sounding intake you can have, now which one you prefer, that's up to you, I personally find supercharger whine more soothing, but hey, spooled turbos rock as well (so much easier to get crazy power from too)

To all those who need help with battery relocation

Step 1: Extend power wire to rear of carStep 2: Extend ground wire to rear of carStep 3: Find something to hold the battery down

voila!

Get out the Cable Stretcher.....LOL

And don't bother extending the ground, just extra expense. Ground everything to the chassis, in the front. Ground the battery to the chassis in the rear.

cable stretcher? wtf?

seriously, what do you use to connect big fat wires like that? and for the negative terminal, i can just run the wire to some metal in the trunk or whatever?

Not just any metal. A solid piece with paint that you can sand away to get a good metal-on-metal finish.

The terminal is going to be big. You'll need to find a 10 or preferably 12mm bolt somewhere in the back that will take the big ground lug, and has good ground continuity.

ok, I believe I told you guys what wire I used in my last post. It is 2 gauge power wire used for massive car stereos. I bought 25ft of it off ebay for like 25 - $30 and it was more than enough. Ill take a pic of the battery later, but for now all you do is go to autozone and buy two battery terminal connectors that have the clamps for any size wire on them. No soldering involved at all, just clamp everything down really well and your good to go. yes, you ground the bat in the trunk after scraping all the paint away, again very simple. also, I used an EFX Scosche distributor from ebay for like $17 so I could connect and disconnect any wire whenever I wanted to, also makes everything alot cleaner. any other questions??

Cable stretchers are an old car stereo installer joke. But a battery cut off switch in the trunk at the battery would be a good idea.

The other thing people are forgetting is a fuse at the battery in the trunk to protect that massive wire (or heating element, if it shorts out) headed all the way to the front of the car. If it grounds out on the firewall, your car will go up in flames if there is not fuse.

circuit breaker, I think 50 amps is good enough. cant really remember tho. that way you dont have to replace fuses.
