I purchased my Infiniti G37 Journey, Ivory/Wheat/Washi - Prem/Nav/Illum kickplates through Kearny Mesa Infiniti on the 14th of November here in San Diego I haggled down to $1,200.00 off MSRP (I didn't walk out but made the salesman ask the mgr. twice to lower the price).MSRP was $41,495.00 - $1,200.00 (my excellent haggling technique = $40,295.00$40,295.00 + Document Prep Fee $55.00 = $40,350.00$40,350.00 + $3,127.13 (7.75% CA sales tax) = $43,477.13 $43,477.13 + Infiniti Elite 5 Yr Service Package $2,895.00 (did I get ripped? they said these fees would be in excess of $5,000.00) = $46,372.13$46,372.13 + $262.00 (Amount Paid to Public Officials) = $46,634.13$46,634.03 + $48.00 (Reg/Transfer/title Fees - estimated) = $46,682.13$46,682.03 + $8.75 (Cal Tire Fees) = $46,690.88$46,690.88 + $12.00 (smog abatement) = $46,702.88To drive off the lot = $46,702.88Note: I asked when I entered the dealer for the Costco Membership Price - I showed my Costco card and the 'Costco contact' introduced me to the salesman to test drive. When we agreed that it was the car I wanted I again asked for the Costco price and was told by the salesman that the car, because it is a luxury vehicle, and in great demand, did not have a Costco discount. After Costco sent me a survey, and I mentioned this to them the salesman called back and apologized saying that there was a discount and it was $500.00 under MSRP. Costco is researching, and they told me if they find that the membership discount is more than what I got off the MSRP they will make the dealer cut me a check! I'll keep you posted; it should be another week before I know.Just to be fair, the salesman at Kearny Mesa Infiniti was very helpful, he had to do his standard salesman thing but after we agreed on the price he has been awesome, her has answered all my questions and is a very knowledgeable person on the Infiniti.
