So... why exactly are you on a Nissan forum since you own a Honduh? By the way, get rid of the sad K20 and step up to an H22A for god's sake. It is the only decent engine Honda ever made, and that includes your little crappy Acura. Funny, I can buy a B12 Sentra for $500, spend $10,000 in performance parts and upgrades, and have 100s more horsepower than your RSX for half the price. That's Nissan ingenuity, not Honduh bullsh*t.

I'm kind of confused as to why an RSX owner who seems to have no intention of getting into Nissans feels the need to come here and start ****?

alright. a/b this scooter guy or whatever the hell ur name is. first off this forum help people out and not lead them in the wrong direction. d!ck like u just want to start bull**** and see the aftermath. don't criticize people who are lookin' for help.

second off, ur a dumbass. ur in the wrong forum for a completely different make and model of car. honda's suck anyway. acura's aren't any better. if spec-v's don't scare u, then how a/b a skyline gt-r?

third off, ur wastin people's time with bull**** answers. if ur wastin their time, that means ur wastin my time, and everyone else across the nicoclub website. no one wants to hear u be a retard. so why don't u take ur front axle, shove it up ur ***, and rotate on it.

Hondas are great cars, so are Acuras. They lack in torque, but that's just a matter of driving differently. I won't bother arguing Honda vs Nissan because I don't see the point. I also won't bother shouting pointless bits of engine "knowledge" because I just don't give a damn. From all accounts I've ever seen, every car mentioned in these past few posts has potential.

My issue isn't with the RSX, Honda, Acura, or any other manufacturer. I have no problem with an owner of another make dropping in out of curiosity.

Here's the deal though:

Why is it that with every post you make, the more I'm convinced you're just a douche bag here to make trouble? Seriously, either contribute or shut up and take your trolling somewhere else. Great pic there too, posing like the douche you come off as by your car.

I won't bother arguing reliability much, seeing as the 02-06 QR25 is pretty much a time bomb, but I just don't see why you've come here to get in a pissing contest with Sentra owners. Your friend sold his for a WRX? Good for him. I'd like to see what happens when he starts doing anything beyond a catback and intake on that thing. Base WRX transmissions bite the dust in a hurry as soon as you start throwing power at them. Yeah, the SE-R had flaws, no doubt about it, but the RSX isn't exactly perfect either and nor is any other car.

Grow up.

Scoonie or Scooter who ever you may be, do some serious research. Honda's are built for all motor applications and the best at it I must admit. Comparing the Honda K's and B's to the SR20 all motor, Honda's will rape all day long, b/c the SR20 block was built for boost not motor. The SR16VE is an al motor set up and it'll rape the Honda's Type R's all day check the video on http://www.youtube.com and type in SR16VE and see the results. Honda's have better flow than the SR20 block does, but and I said "BUT"when the SR20 is boosted, pleez take your Honda's home. If want to get into a who's greater match, Nissan's run sh#t and the SR20 is the "KING" of 4cyl's. It's FWD, AWD, and RWD what Honda engine has that potential? RB's, VQ's, VG's, SR's(16/20), CA's, and KA's are greater than any Honda engine out there.

I've got an 02 spec v, with its second or third time bomb in it. This motor has only 15 k miles on it, so I should be good for a few thousand more. . Its a blast to drive. My brother in law has an rsx, and was giving me crap about my 4 door and I should go get a sport car blah blah blah until I dusted him and yelled back in the walkie talkie that vtec was like waiting a real long time for bad sex. He didnt dig that too much. Plus the whole way up him and his other acura buddy were burning oil, and all i was burning is gas. . But I actually like hondas too, I've had quite a few. so moral of the story STFU honda boy.

Whats goin on fellas? Just figured I would introduce myself. I am a former honda guy (please no predjudice). I had to sell my Civic and buy a pathfinder (thats what happends when you have a child). Im in this thread b/c whoever has the baby (or drops her off at a grandparents house) gets the truck, so.... I get my girls spec v 4 days a week.

Its an 04, not bad, I actually like it. You can def feel the tourque difference(compaired to the B16 in my civic) the only thing I dont like is its a little big. Other then that its not bad at all (needs a little bit of a drop tho, its riding stock right now and im def not used to it). My civic had a mild 1.5-2in drop on Tien S/KYB AGX's.

If anyone is curious what kind of taste in cars I had, here is a few pics of the civic.... http://www.honda-tech.com/gara...=3700

I have read something about the butterflys in the intake coming loose.. I assume they are similar to the ones in a GSR mani. Is this problem warrantied or recalled? I did so much work on my car, and it would be nice just to let the dealer do something for a change if I dont have to pay for it. Also, the positive battary harness looks corroded on both the sentra and the pathfinder, is this a common nissan problem???

Any advice/suggestions appreciated. I WONT be doing any mods to the sentra for a few years (still under warrany/ i have a new born and I dont want to waste money on anything) and thats if my girl lets me

thanks fellas, and nice to meet you!!

BTW im a big p0ker player/ laker fan if anyone else around here is interested in the same.....

Most dealers won't do it. Nissan doesn't really acknowledge the problem with the butterflies. When they fail most dealers give excuses and try to claim it's your fault. Obviously it just depends on how your dealer is. Give them a shot, but if they jerk you around head to Autozone, pick up some Loctite, and DIY.

The battery terminals corrode like mad. Just take a wire brush and brush it off every now and again.

just a little follow up on an rsx note if you strive for mediocricy thats what you will get saying that your car was built for all motor is an excuse for getting slapped up by a nice det its not about what the car was built for its what its built to. and if i drop another 15 grand in mine which is probably what you paid im sure i can have a 9 sec race car but for now the gtir runs just fine

Newbie,

03 Sentra XE (1.8L)

No current mods, just a new set of headlights (JDM?) and a shift knob. Expecting cool air intake and cat-back but only find stuff for the 2.5, SE-R, Spec-V, etc.

If anyone has any suggestions, I need exact specs, brands, etc. I'm a chemist, not a mechanic.

FYI, "JDM" headlights don't exist for the B15. There was no Japanese market B15 then. They are just marketed that way so that they sell more.

No harm, the ones I've seen look good (black housing instead of chromed).

Thanks for the "FYI". This is alot of firsts for me: tuning, forums, etc.

Those are the lights I picked up (with the black housings). With the champagne colored car, they look pretty slick.

just saw this post got revived and realized i've never posted in it.

still unsure if its the b16 or c chassis or what we're going with cause i hear so many different names, but anyways i'm driving an '07 spec v, magnetic gray. So far i have a BRM 2.5" stainless steel catback with 14" resonator, Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs, Forged 17" Motegi Traklite wheels with Toyo Proxes 4 tires, and 20% tint all around. I'm waiting for either Injen or Weapon-R to release an intake system so I can get that installed, and also hoping for some headers to be released for a nice header/midpipe combo. TBS is on its way, waiting for an intake manifold and ims to come out.
