I'm kinda confused as to A. where on earth such a chip would come from and B. why you'd do "turbo + intercooler" and "headers." Adding a turbo would require and aftermarket header/exhaust manifold (no s, it's an inline 4) that is NOT the same as what most people would refer to as a header (which normally indicates a performance OEM replacement - naturally aspirated, not a turbo manifold). Insofar as I know there's also no "brake kits" out for the B16s.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but I figure that deserves clarification.

...how well would all that work with a CVT anyway?

My car: 2007 Sentra 2.0S 6spd w/ convenience package (called luxury package in Canada by the way). All stock with an extended warranty

None of that would interfere with the CVT, though a poorly-designed chip upgrade (if any such upgrades existed) might cause issues.

I have a 1995 Sentra XE as a winter beater, though I've thought about spending a little money on it so I have something a bit nicer when I'm not driving my 240.

Two here:My '96 Sentra GXE 1.6L 5 speed with KYB struts & mounts, custom catback, high-flow air filter and NGK Iridiums. Running Royal Purple in engine and trans.Son's '92 GXE 1.6L 5 speed with KYB struts, modified exhaust, high-flow air filter and NGK/Royal Purple. BTW, with the above setup our 1.6s have surprising torque. Son routinely leaves V8s far, far behind with his '92. He convinced me to try a Nissan when my ancient Dodge died and was sold to a restorer. Both Sentras are in the 200k mile range and neither uses an appreciable amount of oil.

I'd put a header on it so you don't eat your precat and loctite the butterfly screws while you're at it so you don't eat those either.

Yea, i know about the issues. But the 2006 got updated butterfly screws. So thats kinda unneccessary (or so ive heard). While I want to buy a header, I semi have other things that need attention on my 240. I think i either may buy el cheepo or scrape out the precat and hope that I get it all. IDK yet, but I will figure this out ASAP

Put some OBX-R headers on it. They are cheap, hold up great, and look great. That way you dont got to jig-rig and hope.

OBX and SSAutochrome are both cheap and stainless steel. Good choice for a preventative maintenance mod (though both are perfectly fine for performance too).
