im bored and figured it was time to post on this thread :D

92 sentra E/ ga16de/ manual 4 speed

-no abs, no power stearing,no ac

-cheap spectre open element filter

-straight through muffler from autozone

-msd blaster 2 coil

-15" aluminum rims i got from pawn shop with brand new 195/50/15 nankang tires for $180

-generic lame *** wing for $50 at wal-mart

-whole slew of ricer trinkets, pedals, fog lights, multi color lighted tachometer set to blue, blue lights all over inside of car even the shifter :P not one of them battery operated ones either

-any cheap trick in the book... water wetter, mobil1 synth oil, adv. timing, ect.

since i bought the car for $500 a little over a year ago i have had to replace almost everything besides the whole motor and transmission

- drive axles and seals

-alternator 3 times (due to poor engine grounding)

-clutch kit(i didnt do)

-ball joints 3 times due to the abuse from being removed so many times

-every seal besides rear main and head gasket that has anything to do with oil

-fuel pump

-all brakes plus front rotors

-all filters,plugs+wires

-clutch cable 4 times

im sure theres more im forgeting along with having to jimmy rig alot of ****, clutch pedal held on with sheet metal and self tapping screws, trunk opens with a pull cord from back seat

and then theres the sound system

-alpine deck

-all speakers + subs lightning audio(from wal-mart)

-4 4 1/2" inch 2 ways powered by head unit

-400 watt 4 channel amp powering rear 6 1/2" and both 10" subs

-2 6 1/2" 3 way with high pass cross over

-2 10" subs

-200 watt mono amp powering 12" sub

-12" sub

basically im writing all this because like i said im bored and i want people to understand why i love sentra's... mine isnt the nicest but all that i have been through with it and the the time i put into it makes me love it even more eveytime i get behind the wheel.... it has 170k miles and it still runs like a champ i drive it all day everyday delivering pizza's, flowers, phonebooks, and anything else anyone wants to pay me to sit on my *** and rock out to tunes.... it starts everytime with half a turn of the key and the gas milage kicks *** let alone how easy this car is to work on the engine bay is atleast 30% empty lots of room to fix things

im done sorry this is so long

B13's kick ***. I have a '93 and it has 177,000 miles and it still runs as a champ. Sometimes in really really really cold weather it gives me trouble starting, but it usually will start up with some loving. The true test comes this fall when I have to commute about 100 miles a day, 5 days a week, for about 6 months. Hopefully she can live up to my expectations!

be careful of engine fires bro, 06s are notorious for having oil problems, check the oil everytime you fill up!

Fortunately in his case, he has the 1.8, the 2.5 has the oil consumption problem. The 2.5 comes in the SE-R/Spec V and Altima 4 cyl altima.

1995 200sx just brought back to life after spending two months putting a new engine in it and putting the pieces back together because the idiot who had it before me didn't appreciate it too much.

Simple and clean, can't ask for anything else. Good luck with GTiR swap, if done right it will be a beast.

Thanks a million. I have Honnestly been dreaming of this motor swap since my first SR powered car, a 96 200SX SE-R. I miss that car, it was tons of fun even though it was poorly modified. I will post back about the car when the mods are done.

Motor is in and all that is left is starting it, and wiring the accessories. Unfortunately it won't start , and we are having trouble figuring out why!

Nice b15. Motorswap sounds sweet, let us know how it is once you get it running.
