here is some info. the needles are clear piece of plastic with a red film on the backside of them. if you could shave that red part off of the needle and somehow use some type of coloring agent on there, i think it might work. i tried using a blue sharpie marker on one of my needles but it wont filter the light through it. i would like to get a spare cluster so i can work with that and not owrry about breaking any of the needles on accident.temperature control device - good luck changing those bulbs. i could not find any way to open up the unit to change them. i did however make them red by using a marker on the backside of the actual buttons.

ahhh...shyt i jus came back from the junkyard and me and my two boys bob n mike (both are on here)..we ripped out 2 gauge clusters..and we jack all the light bulbs that will screw out the back...but we tried the needles and its like it doesnt have no light...its a tranparent piece of plastic...i guess u do have to somehow tint the guages ,,,and they will light up to ur color...sorry i just like nice gauges...aint a ricer

yeah. see i think you gotta somehow get the red color off the back of the needle and then get a marker or something and color the back side of the needle and then maybe it would work.

I have the blue kit from Import intelligence......it came out pretty good....but you have to pull the needles to install which can be a pain in the butt.....my temp gauge hasn't read correctly since i installed it its always at the 1st or second line and i have to be running a little hotter than that......but it came out pretty good.....i added green blubs too so the numbers light up greed.....u could do any combination of colors........

i got hy HVAC opened up, PITA though, i took out the regular light blubs, and put in led's in their place, but ther other bulbs, the orange one, are nearly impossible to get out, so i didnt bother, basically, the icons on the buttons light up blue, as well as the numbers for the fan speed, only thing is, u gotta shave the plastic piece that lights everything up, cause otherwise u get uneven distribution of light, as for the needles, maybe a thing coat of metallic paint or nail polish would work, that way, you dont have to change the bulbs for the needles, cause they'll be blue anyways, and the light will refelct off the blue backing, its an alternative to the marker idea, cause my friend tried that on soemthing and it failed miserabily, i think i got way to many lights going, lol, my friend got my a crap load of neon lights he didnt want, so i put them in, the effect is great though, and its decently done, so no ricey crap, i got light glowing from the middle vents, side map pockets, and under the dashboard, at the flick of the switch (flame if u wish, i love the look, and so do all my passengers)

u just have to pull the whole cluster out and carefully pull the needles off the cluster....be careful not to break them they are very sensitive.....we pulled on one too hard and the whole metal piece came out with the needle.....the little gears on the end never lined back up right when we put it back in and thats why my stock temp gauge is inaccurate now......I kinda wish i never did it......but now its done and it looks ill at night

the kit comes with 4 little rings with no center (matel part goes through) with 3 blue (any color) LEDS on each ring wihich go under the needle and gauge front and it reflects right through the needle itself (clear needles with white on bottom.....if not paint the bottom white itll come out better)

isn't that gauge cluster too bright?

if that was in my car, it would be bother me...kinda like driving while someone has a flashlight aimed at your eyes.

LOL!!...oh yea btw thats "93Niss240"!!...lol...i think the reason your needles are so dime is because your background light is not the brightest colour u can choose (grre)...for example i got 2 red bulbs behind my guages...and they are noticeably brighter...try doing that mod "93Niss240" see how it comes out
