the gauge w/ the blue lights was most likely not "photoshoped"its just timelaps photography.

you mean that the shutter was open for a long time? i suppose that is possible since the lightmeter in the camera would have kept it open for a long time considering it would calculate that where was very little light from what it was pointed at. unless the photographer was at the controls rather than the camera's computer.

but in either case, it is not likely the camera was held by hand, unless those were some steady hands taking the shot.

seeing that the picture is also in one of the ad banners on the left, i guess they did put some time into taking this shot.

you must not go to car shows much, most show cars have fully built motors, that doesnt mean they arent rice.

aren't we just a good little trash talker..... you showed him man...

If someone putts something on their car that they like and makes them feel better driving the car/looking at their car, and they are proud of it LEAVE THEM ALONE.. christ I am SICK of people giving other people crap about what they do to their cars.

If you put something on your car that you are really happy about and someone else says that it is "rice" and gives you a bunch of crap about it how does that make you feel?

Personally that makes me feel bad because i just went out and spent my hard earned money on something that I like, and now i have to feel like i did something wrong because of someone else's opinion.. F*** that. all you haters should keep your damn comments to yourselves..

lol... so you are a follower right? Is that what you are saying? I'd rather have **** talked about me for doing something different, than to be trendy and do what everyone else is doing. That is my definition of "rice" right there.

wow. at first this thread was somewhat intelligent but it turned into a complete bashing. i agree that the needle conversion idea is great. i dont feel its at all rice or anything. id love at some point to take my gauges and do a full conversion with hella bright lights and tint the front plastic piece really dark, giving myself completely electrolumenscent gauges like 94+ preludes have. you sit in a prelude and look at the gauges then try telling me you didnt fall in love. its beautiful. id like to mimic something like that in the 240... keep things going on this. intelligent conversation leads to progress. any mindless *****ing please save it for pm. this is interesting to me.

I put those stupid lights on my needles and in my OPINION they suck.I dont know if if it was the person installing them (which it probably was) or the design of them(got them from import intellegence).Needles were all jumpy and sluggish.I got so mad I ripped them out and put a new gauge cluster in. :tisk: :thumbd
