Thats what I'm sayin..........my car is fast....and im into doin high performance parts......so i'm a ricer if my needles glow? I'd still say you definetly think you have far more than you really do. Stock SRs made around 170ish wheel HP at stock boost, saying you have 220 whp at stock boost is a huge stretch. Maybe you have around 230 whp at 15PSI, but certainly not anything close to that on stock boost with a T25. You have an SR........applause applause.......so does a whole other country........ KA24E-T = damned unique and cool as hell.

....As far as needle removal goes on the Nissan's pulling them straight out is the worst way to remove them. They must be turned off because if the metal pins do come out, start looking for a new cluster. ( We have many junk Nissan clusters here so if you didn't remove the needles correctly please call! We have a bunch of good parts. )

The cluster pictured has the Blue kit (obviously) w/ white faced gauges ( helps make the needle appear brighter.) and the gauge cluster Hyper White bulbs. The sharpie trick only works for coloring the needles during the daytime, if colored needles are desired during the daytime color them on the sides and leave the back white and the top clear. On the S13's all the needles are white. On S14's the needles are clear with red paint on the back, this paint scrapes off easy with a razor. For best results re-paint the S14's needle backs white with use of a blue kit. If using a red kit on the S14 no modification to the needle is nessary.

I'll take over as the role of "hata" for that car and relieve midnightslide of any burden or responsibility regarding that.

Paint the Bomex front red, and get rid of the veilside knockoff ASAP or people will start mistaking it for a honda prelude. Aside from one or two nitpicks the interior would probably be my favorite part of the car, especially where you try to match your gauges to the blitz ones. That gets good honest props from me, even though I'm about to rip on you.

The spoiler clashes with the rest of the car like BMW headlights on a Honda Civic. Your spoiler isn't really "GT-R style" at all. It's Rice-style. Look at the spoiler of an R33 Skyline GT-R. THAT is a GTR-style wing. You DON'T HAVE A SIL-EIGHTY. If you don't know what I'm talking about, sell every exterior mod of your car and leave it stock-looking. but on that notei wish to say everything areitu said, but point out you have an s14 heritage emblem on an rps13 badge, you dont even have a silvia you have a 180. so you have the wrong year AND wrong model.if i saw you in public id pick on you and i ahve NEVER picked on a 240sx with an sr20 swap. youd be the first.btw your wiring looks ****ty too.

ouch..that had to hurt... Your car is really nice man... I like it alot, but the silvia stuff is gonna get you alot of ridicule. You put alot of hard work into your ride it seems, and it looks very good. Im looking to get those blitz gauges as well... and nice choice of intercooler.. Did you do your own swap?

your car sucks you put the wrong emblem you rice off the hook the front end is not sil80 and your car is just a mexican mobile that belongs on in a autozone commerical

Now the response......just because I didn't covert my front end to an s13 silvia front with the fastback rear doesn't mean its not a sil-80. The reason i say sil-80 is because its a fastback (180sx) base with a SILVIA motor in it.....a 93 red-top that came out of a SILVIA.....maybe u should have looked at all the pics if u think i'm putting Silvia badges on a KA-powered 240....so technically its not a sil-80 but it is in a way....not the body conversin but the motor conversion....get it?..... i know that sil eighty's were the 180sx's with the silvia front ends (fixed headlamps not pop ups)......back in the day in Japan drifters would crash their 180's and found that it was cheaper to buy a silvia front end to put on and suddenly it became a trend....people were practiaclly waiting to crash their cars in the mountains drifting just to make a sil-80....the trend became so big that for 2-3 years nissan actually put out some sil-80's right from the factory in a limited production......RPS13's.......so i think i know my sh't especially for being on the east coast and getting all the lastest parts and info last in the country I think I've done and am doing a good job.......and the "S"....thats a tough one SILVIA i know thats its off an s14 but it was red so i picked it........so apperently i know about the car and its history.....and the bomex front is goin on and the whole car is getting painted black......also i plan to get late model 180sx tailights and the veilside wing........and as for nigganomics u don't know your *** from ur elbow......so keep it to urself.....at least AREITU had a couple good points.....ur just fullof ****......and this is my response to prove i know whats up and justify my work.......

your still wrongthe fact you didnt convert your front end is exactly why your car is not a sil-80, cause thats all a sil-80 is.rps13 is simply the hatchback like what you have alreadygo read the chassis dsignation in the engine bay.after 91 both the 180 and silvia recieved the SR, and before that both had the CA18.

and take off the wing.

I can read and I take advantage of that gift, so I know your car has an SR20 in it. A car isn't a sil-eighty until you've put the front body panels from a Silvia on. Regardless of where your engine comes from, you car isn't a sil-eighty. Now, for example, if you got the fenders, lights and hood, and put a bomex bumper on that, it's be cool by me too. If the SRs between the Silvia and 180s were different in some meaningful way, then it's justified t ocall your car a SilEighty, but for now, you should stick to calling it a 180SX.

And now for the praise: There are things I DO like about your car, and you do think ahead before you do things, unlike a lot of people I know. Smalld details like matching your gauges to the blitz ones are things that impress me deeply, and having your exterior match your interior as well. I know I kinda flamed on you for the spoiler and calling your car a Sil-Eighty (it still isn't) and the bomex and black paint will definitely give your car a cleaner look.

ps areitu....thanks for the praise and I'm sick of the spoiler actually....it looks good from behind but not from the side........the veilside wing is goin on next.......but 1st the winter project is 100% under the hood and when the funds come through for the paint, wing, body work, and tailights......then it'll be done......

The $600 decal on the corner of the windshield makes it pull way harder than a stock one above 4500rpm. Sounds like a Supra with the cats removed. You should buy it. Veilside makes good bodykits for the G35. Personally, I'd go with Nismo front and a Data Systems grille, Nismo and sides and Impul rear spoiler.

i'd say that with vinal decals, stickers, and that nice body kit PLUS the glowing needle that there is no reason to modify your car performance wise at all.....thats like 220 hp just from rice mods....i wish my car was that easy
