Now the response......just because I didn't covert my front end to an s13 silvia front with the fastback rear doesn't mean its not a sil-80. The reason i say sil-80 is because its a fastback (180sx) base with a SILVIA motor in it.....a 93 red-top that came out of a SILVIA.....maybe u should have looked at all the pics if u think i'm putting Silvia badges on a KA-powered 240....so technically its not a sil-80 but it is in a way....not the body conversin but the motor conversion....get it?..... i know that sil eighty's were the 180sx's with the silvia front ends (fixed headlamps not pop ups)......back in the day in Japan drifters would crash their 180's and found that it was cheaper to buy a silvia front end to put on and suddenly it became a trend....people were practiaclly waiting to crash their cars in the mountains drifting just to make a sil-80....the trend became so big that for 2-3 years nissan actually put out some sil-80's right from the factory in a limited production......RPS13's.......so i think i know my sh't especially for being on the east coast and getting all the lastest parts and info last in the country I think I've done and am doing a good job.......and the "S"....thats a tough one SILVIA i know thats its off an s14 but it was red so i picked it........so apperently i know about the car and its history.....and the bomex front is goin on and the whole car is getting painted black......also i plan to get late model 180sx tailights and the veilside wing........and as for nigganomics u don't know your *** from ur elbow......so keep it to urself.....at least AREITU had a couple good points.....ur just fullof ****......and this is my response to prove i know whats up and justify my work.......AREITU wrote:I'll take over as the role of "hata" for that car and relieve midnightslide of any burden or responsibility regarding that.
Paint the Bomex front red, and get rid of the veilside knockoff ASAP or people will start mistaking it for a honda prelude. Aside from one or two nitpicks the interior would probably be my favorite part of the car, especially where you try to match your gauges to the blitz ones. That gets good honest props from me, even though I'm about to rip on you.
The spoiler clashes with the rest of the car like BMW headlights on a Honda Civic. Your spoiler isn't really "GT-R style" at all. It's Rice-style. Look at the spoiler of an R33 Skyline GT-R. THAT is a GTR-style wing. You DON'T HAVE A SIL-EIGHTY. If you don't know what I'm talking about, sell every exterior mod of your car and leave it stock-looking. In about three years, when everything that happens in California ripples over to the east coast, you might pick up a clue about what the 180SX and Silvia really are and where the red S badge you have/had on the car really comes from.
