Yeh ill put pics up shortly.Nothin to exciting so far...And well i used the R32 Crossmemberand in all the "What ya need to swap an RB20 into an s13"threads, it says yeh can use R32 Crossmember and stock mounts.Personally i take stock mounts as S13 mounts. Should say R32crossmember and R32 mounts. Anyways though yeh my engine didntcome with the damn mounts so here i am with a bit of a bind haha.So im either buying CA18s old mounts or fabbing new ones!Might test fit the RB to see what i would need to do to make new ones.College is making me uber broke right now so yah haha feeling pre cheap.

Well its in...sitting exactly where it needs to be.
Starter is chillin on the firewall so cant go back anymore lol.
Unfortunately father forgot to stagger the bolt brackets on the
mounts so one side is realllly close and the other not so much.
Need to cut off the bolt brackets and mount em on the other side
of the mount! DOH! Pre close tho!

Here she is sitting in her rightful home!
Image

Looks so good in there!

Finally a decent build thread. Maybe you're not getting any love cause all of the people that have a 1 post build and just stop there ruined it for people like you to get some support. Diggin the black and red combo, it's going to be a helluva sleeper lol.

Amen to that. There are a lot of "builders" like that in iowa...

Oh, and a stock rb20 makes around 210 hp.

UPDATE TIME:

Been hella busy guys sorry to keep yeh waiting!
Well heres a fat update to make it up to yeh!
Currently im really close to starting it.
Need to buy bout a foot of various
hose sizes and find a way to mound my coil and then wire my
wideband and thats it!

Heres the hole cut for the IC piping.
Image

Removed the lame pinch rail thing on the back of the bumper support to mount IC.
Image

Nice and smooth now.
Image

Mounted IC!
Image

Bumper mods to fit the IC.
Image

Image

Image

Bumper fitment! Intercooler fits real nice! Bumpers not mounted in this pic btw
just fitted over top so that lil sag wont be there.
Image

Some random hawtness with the intercooler piping all fitted.
Image

Image

New and improved mounts!
Image

After a long a** time of struggling with it, shes in! What a tighty!
Image

Image

Wow the bottom mount sure sits the turbo pre low to the mounts...
Image

Image

Mishimoto Dual 12'' Fans mounted!
Image

Not a direct fit. Had to trim the bottom corners to slide it into the space.
Image

Mishimoto Rad mounted.
Image

Very tight fit. With the power steering pressure line connected it rests on the rad. YIKES!
Image

High Pressure PS line my dad made for me at work. Hehe usually used on heavy duty equipment!
Image

Image

Image

Accel Wires. Part # 5040R. Slight pain in the a** to get them boots on. Grease is your friend.
Image

Hehe i dont s*** when i say LOTS OF PICS in my build thread! Hope yeh guys enjoyed. Should be running by tomorrow
if not then this weekend fer sure! WOOT cant wait! :)

Haha no ones tach ever works. Theres a guide around here that tells ya how though, or you can send it in... I will gladly take a copy of that guide, but after a problem getting my rb20 shipped i decided im gonna sell my rb stuff and go for a CA first. Eventually i'll go RB though!

Okay heres the vids as promised.
Video 1: First startup. Missed the startup part, surprised me lol.
Open downpipe.
Image

Video 2: Second startup. Listen to how nice it starts. Exhaust was brutally rich (later found out to be cause the 02 wasnt connected right. OOPS!) Put the exhaust on. Blew a fat exhaust leak near the end of the video and so shut it off. Could see smoke coming up through the bay. Leak ended up being two
s*** test pipe gaskets. Watch my face when i hit boost and the BOV releases. HAHA i had a bit of an orgasm ;)

Image

Currently waiting on, exhaust gasket, and stock Recirculation pipe to wrap her up and get her running smoothly.
Wanna figure something out for my tach. Mine doesnt work at all...damn SOHC.
Gotta wire my fans and hook up my gauges too then just tidy everything up and thats all i got left to do!
Cant wait to drive it! :)

Man are you ok when you revved it up you had a mixed look like you were happy everything was ok and you were embarrassed you just creampied your pants. :lolling:

Just wondering did you give your motor a compression test before you did everything?
