so did you pull that water pump and seal it correctly?? that is nothing you should skimp on (really).
i was running a single fan and i didn't overheat(now i have doubles) that water pump/cooling system is ubber important..

and as far as the hose you can get a universaL one that has a slight curve to fit youre upper(i did) and a universal flex hose for the bottom.

I didnt put the water pump on. It was a brand new water pump when i bought the engine.
Sealed properly but the bolts werent in the proper place and couldnt tighten all the way.
I managed to find a hose at auto value that fit beautifully after some trimming.
Looks ment to be!

Yee yee :P Gotta be a lil sleeper ;)
Yee goin 5 lug eventually but i just got a wicked deal on some 4 and 5 bolt 17's
so not in much of a rush now. There really rare JDM "Hotstuffs" i guess, 17x8 and 17x7.
Ganna be painting them white. Waiting to get my coilovers sent out too :)
Also am currently in the process of strippin the s*** outta the interior.
The cars being built for drift so its not gonna be much of a daily.
Got all of the rear sound deadening out. Gotta do the front soon, and then clean up all the lil
bits and pieces and the glue with brake clean. Also wanna stitch weld the chassis and then paint the interior
white eventually. BUSY BUSY!!!!

Ill post up pics when i get em there really rare and cant find any pics on the internet. There 4 and 5 bolt so yee no rush to go 5 lug now. Fusebox usually sits on a mount thingy on the coolant reservoir but it was way too cluttered in there with
the reservoir so i took it out for now. Relocating my battery to the rear later this week and putting my reservoir back in though.

Well its update time!

Been really busy lately! Also stuck on finding o rears for the front calipers.
Anyways, i sandblasted my wheels but havent painted em yet, stripped my whole rear interior of sound deadening, relocated my battery to the trunk.
Gotta get my other gauge that Prosport f*** up on not sending me, and gotta strip the front interior still.
Am buying a Blitz Power meter that will be my tach and speedo, and also tells me hp, 0-60 times and sweet s***.
Personal Black Suede steering wheels with red stitching, nismo 2 way, tomei procams!
This winter the build is focused on getting it ready for the track next drift season.
So suspension, replacing all the bushings, aftermarket arms, 5 lug, debating roll cage.
Seats and harnesses, fun stuff like that but i plan on building my RB up.
I got some low compression numbers during a compression test 120 across all of em and that was warmed up.
Think i might build the bottom end with spool conrods and Cp pistons ARP hardware, but i also wanna build the top end with the procams im buying and solid lifter, valve srpings, valve guides. Hopefully funds permit both if not im not sure which i wanna build first to ensure itll be drift ready. Not stoked on having to rock a break in period.
Also am looking for 330ishwhp next season. Nistune, injectors, perhaps HKS 2530 dunno yet.
Then of course more fun stuff like CF hood, aero, HIDs, tint, tails :P
Gonna be a fun[expensive] winter.

Glad to hear my guides serving its purpose :)
Atm, the whole interior is stripped including the dash. Im working on
removing all the sound deadening and then i plan on painting the interior
black. Would like to get a cage but well see what happens this winter...
Also plan on wiring in my gauges, blitz power meter and key ring light,
while the dash is removed for a nice clean look.
Currently thats pre much all thats gettin done.
Unfortunately i are broke :( and unemployed so projects on hold fer now.
No worries though imma make sure shes drift ready fer next season! :)

Great way to make the piping look cleaner, if you dont have a greddy style intake.
Intercooler is plenty big. Its bigger than the CX Racing one. (dimensions are on the sites if yeh feel like looking)
Mines the godspeed R32 kit. Came with all the piping and clamps and such for bout $450 shipped.
Ended up needing to buy another 2.5" 90 degree silicone but everything else was there to make it work.

UPDATE while im at it.
Projects still chillin for now but will def be completed by spring no worries.
In the meanwhile i just recently sold my 92 Cavalier and bought an 89 S13 Coupe!
KA24E, 5 Spd, HUD, s*** brown dash, slammed on coilovers, 3" exhaust, old school Nismo steering wheel.
Best $1000 ive spent i must say :P was cheaper than this car when i bough it and she runs mint.
Probs future KA-T project :P f*** SR's.
Ill post pics soon if anyones interested.

Yeh i must say i never was a fan of the coupes till i got this one...
Now i understand the saying "Once you go coupe, hatchback is poop."
Hahaha it just looks so much better than my hatch stock for stock.
Once i get the hatch all wrapped up with aero, CF hood, wheels etc,
itll def be the sexxier of the two :P
Just gotta avoid dropping money into the coupe haha.
Easier said than done :/

Are you going to buy a silvia front for the coupe? I've been thinking of buying a rolling coupe and swapping everything out of my hatch. Silivas look good!

Coupes just a DD. Trying not to drop money into it.
Would like to own a 240SX with Silvia front end, but honestly would
rather just buy one already done eventually.

Soooo the project does live :)
Too busy to update this thread and my
camera got lost a while ago.
The RB is running excellent right now im very impressed with it.
Needs new coilpacks so i can up the boost a bit.
Updates since last time of the top of my head:
-CF Hood
-Megan Coilovers swapped from my coupe.
-R33 Rear Ebrake Setup and Z32 Brakes with Z32 BMC.
-Set of 17x9 +18 Stern Axia drift spairs and a pair of
17x10 +20 FN01's. Has wicked mean stance now.
Rockin 225/45R17s on the 9" wheels and 235/45R17s on the FN's.
Needs a slight roll in the rear, cambers max negative on my front coils.
-Isis 4" Dual Tip exhaust. Full 3" from the turbo back, absolutely amazing sounding.
-Removed the seam sealer and stitch welded the chassis, was not fun removing that ****...
have yet to prime and paint the interior. Been thinkin bout putting red Rock Guard, that spray box liner ****.
-NISMO 2 Way is amazing, so much nicer to control, locks hard.
And heres some pics of the beast on a trailer :P
Enjoy!

HUGE UPDATE: Still have the car.
Just finished a bunch of fun stuff, thought I'd
revive an old thread ;)

Finally pounded out all my bushings and installed my Energy Suspension poly
bushing kit that I've had sitting around.
Image

New PBM RUCA's, Solid Subframe bushings, and Energy Suspension bushings installed.
PBM Traction and Toe rods will be added shortly!
Image

Very impressed by the PBM links...superrr beefy and quality pieces!
Can't wait to get more of their products!
Image

Got another RB20. Old motor was low on compression, getting tired.
Hoping this one will be a lil fresher. Got it all freshened up before install.
Will be running an RB25 turbo on this motor with lower gearing
to help counteract the extra lag :)
Image

Got a new Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch at a good price.
Been enjoying the feel of it so far.
Image

Clutch installed! :)
Image

New gearing project :) Old stock 4:08 gearing on the right.
And 4.63 gearing I pulled from a Pathfinder on the left.
The 4.63's will go into my Nismo 2way that I was running in my factory
gearing until now. For now I bought a nice in between 4.36 stock Skyline LSD.
The lower gearing and RB25 turbo have made for an excellent combination.
Cant wait to feel the 4.63s!
Image

I got tired of my wheels rubbing on the inside of my wheel wells so I decided to do something about it...

Image

Image

Got a trailer fender and some steel and went to town... :)
Image

Image

Wayyy more room now! :)
Image

Image

Finally done! Very happy with the end result!
Image

All painted and fresh.
Image

Decided to take apart the washer motor and buff it down and paint it
and make it look all fresh in the new bay.
I stopped mid-buffing here to take a picture.
Half is buffed the other halves you can see how rusty and nasty they were.
Image

Cleaned up.
Image

Washer pieces all painted. Brackets are gloss black. Motor covers are flat
black for a stealthy look.
Image

Soooooo I also did a wire tuck and fuse box relocation when I did the tubs.
I hated the fuse box mess of wires that was always in the bay. I rerouted both
fuse boxxes into the cab, behind the glovebox. Then simply made a new harness for all the
lights, horn, etc that is still necessary to run up front.
I was very pleased with the end result, pictures hardly do it justice.
Enjoy the engine p0rn! :D
