HUGE UPDATE: Still have the car.
Just finished a bunch of fun stuff, thought I'd
revive an old thread
Finally pounded out all my bushings and installed my Energy Suspension poly
bushing kit that I've had sitting around.
New PBM RUCA's, Solid Subframe bushings, and Energy Suspension bushings installed.
PBM Traction and Toe rods will be added shortly!
Very impressed by the PBM links...superrr beefy and quality pieces!
Can't wait to get more of their products!
Got another RB20. Old motor was low on compression, getting tired.
Hoping this one will be a lil fresher. Got it all freshened up before install.
Will be running an RB25 turbo on this motor with lower gearing
to help counteract the extra lag
Got a new Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch at a good price.
Been enjoying the feel of it so far.
Clutch installed!
New gearing project

Old stock 4:08 gearing on the right.
And 4.63 gearing I pulled from a Pathfinder on the left.
The 4.63's will go into my Nismo 2way that I was running in my factory
gearing until now. For now I bought a nice in between 4.36 stock Skyline LSD.
The lower gearing and RB25 turbo have made for an excellent combination.
Cant wait to feel the 4.63s!
I got tired of my wheels rubbing on the inside of my wheel wells so I decided to do something about it...
Got a trailer fender and some steel and went to town...
Wayyy more room now!
Finally done! Very happy with the end result!
All painted and fresh.
Decided to take apart the washer motor and buff it down and paint it
and make it look all fresh in the new bay.
I stopped mid-buffing here to take a picture.
Half is buffed the other halves you can see how rusty and nasty they were.
Cleaned up.
Washer pieces all painted. Brackets are gloss black. Motor covers are flat
black for a stealthy look.
Soooooo I also did a wire tuck and fuse box relocation when I did the tubs.
I hated the fuse box mess of wires that was always in the bay. I rerouted both
fuse boxxes into the cab, behind the glovebox. Then simply made a new harness for all the
lights, horn, etc that is still necessary to run up front.
I was very pleased with the end result, pictures hardly do it justice.
Enjoy the engine p0rn!
