Headlights -> trusted and cheap.. dont bake it yerself!

"Ok so at the Carlisle meet i met some g35 guys... members of g35nyc.com

One of them (ron) and his girlfriend (lauren) had a meet at their pizza spot yesterday... anyways i went..

Although feeling somewhat inadequate... (there were all gs... mostly 35s, but a bunch of 37s as well)...

I was greeted kindly... moreover i found the missing link... a trusted baker locally...

The installer (igor) ... without a car... and all these guys had him do anything from tinting/painting tail-lights (gtr layout and others) to headlight painting and more...

Im seriously considering getting it painted... id probably go with a Flat or glossy black, with the chrome-ist (the brim inside the headlights) part painted red... (someone photoshop it for me please)...

I know we arent supposed to link to other forums so heres some assorted pictures of their work

If there is anything wrong with the headlight, I will fix it upon request. 1 out 50 resealed headlights will get condensation and if you happen to be one of those unfortunate people, I will fix the condensation at no cost. Painted headlights are guaranteed against chipped or bubbly paint, if that happens to occur which is an unlikely case, again I will fix it at no cost.

Warranty is VOID if:- The headlight has been opened or tampered with by anyone other than us- The headlight was involved in a slight car accident (fender bender)- If the headlights have been sold and/or given away "

yeah im not sure... idk if i should go all black.. or maybe a little red in there... $200 aint bad at all.... especially bc its a shop (not joe-average, and you can pay with CC)... and bc its got 3 yrs warranty...

The turnaround time is the best part...

Me: So can you guys get them done in 3 or 4 days?Igor: huh?Me: whats the turnaround time?Igor: most of the time if you bring them in before 10am, it will be done by 7pm.. or the next morning.

End of story... That alone makes it so much more appealing... he will accept them shipped, and ship em back at your cost... (he says around $30 each way)

Im def going forward on this... the only thing i need to see is black glossy/red 2 tone to decide if i like that, or all black...

And i know you guys are gonna go "ohh lbc lbc, setup a GB"

a Group Buy will not happen... prices are good enough anyways!

I think they can paint that orange lens in the headlight. Mcheddadi can you try photoshoppin a black coupe with a black housing, and the orange lens blacked out.

Nice shops as usual Mehdi.

One thing to keep in mind is that the reflective part of the light will reflect the same color as well. So if they're painted blue the whole headlight will look pretty blue.

Yeah they charge an extra $50 or somethin if you want the headlight cleared out.. but id just paint over it... paint it black for me boss! Also... what about making the rim on our headlight (inside, theres a chrome non ridged rim..) getting that red... hmmm pretty please!?

Guys.. ive been working on getting intouch with them...

FOR OUR OWN PROTECTION..im not going to post his info here until im happy with him... 2 reasons...

1. you will all call him n leave messages asking the same questions i am trying to get answered..

2. if someone sends him a part and they arent happy... it will come back as "lbc said he was good"... im not giving this guy the "go ahead" without him deserving it...

While i was at the g35 meet (where i met this guy who does the lights) i heard a story (so did phenom) about how 5 of the guys on g35nyc got robbed by a new seller on their forums... not us, not now...

Be patient and i promise that i will make you guys proud.. or atleast follow-up to the point that no one is interested!

I think you guys know me to some degree, and what to expect from me... im not the "rush" guy, or the "see if it fits" guy... I am the ball-busting tough as nails buyer who wont tolerate anything but quality, for a discount price...
