its cool, u cant see the bolt unless you pull the subframe.

i know ur prob not ready to do that, but next time im in lanc (few weeks maybe?) id def give u a hand with it.

im gonna probably go over tommorow and get a few pics so everyone can see wat im facing, and clean up the garage before i start disassembling my subframe.

the only spot thats rusted is the actual tapered bolt

idk how the hell that happened?

but if i cut a square around it with the floor, i should be good.

alright so i was gonna head over today and snap some picks of the chassis, but i was in the hospital this morning.

my dumbass has put off getting my wisdom teeth pulled, and now their abcsessed.

seems stupid but i couldnt take the pain anymore, felt feint since my mouth is infected.

i got some nice pain killers and antibotics till i get em pulled (hopefully thursday)

Ill drive out and pull em tonight for 500$ a tooth, ive got a 1/2 gallon of cheap whiskey right here beside me to numb the pain during pulling and some paint thinner that i used to clean to parts with but should work good to clean out the wounds so they dont get infected! deal?

Lol I played GT2 and did the endurance tracks when I got my wisdom teeth out. The ride home was a sweeeet feeling lol. I'm still a slender dude so back then it took me so long to wake up from the stuff they moved me out of the operating chair to a random waiting room chair and kept checking on me, but I just wanted to sleep lol. The drew carey show was extra funny that day.

alright as promised heres some pictures of what mike has been working on for me. hes got alot to do yet but his work is nice!! im thoroughly impressed. He still has a chunk of the rail near the spare tire well to cut out, and the pass side holes to attend. he mentioned he might be done by the end of next week!!

too bad i havent touched my subframe yet... hehe ill get to it this week, a lil tommorow; and then more wednesday and thursday provided i feel alright (getting my teeth pulled tuesday) once hes done, ill undercoat it, and get it all back together

haha no problem... hes honestly not a body guy; he has just had alot of experience welding with various jobs. currently he works with a steel fabrication company. I can let you know if he would be willing to help you out; hes just a friend of our family, but hes real nice and always up for a project. He just got done building a cage for a kid's drag firebird a few weeks ago.

hahaha idk about completely custom, the kid had a kit for the car and he welded it together.... idk how much it would be, like i said hes doin me a favor...im not sure what i owe him yet. hes gonna let me know. its a hobby of his, and hes got his own car to work on so idk how many side jobs he wants

plus i dont want him to be in the dog house with his wife either...

he built a new section for where my frame is rotted.. hes got some pics hes been taking too, i just didnt get em in the email yet.

but hes got a tig and a mig, he build a pretty nice rotissory for his car too

i have the rear subframe pulled apart, and should have the bushings pressed out tommorow; and then i gotta repaint the arms and everything.

look for an update tommorow night, ive made some progress; but last week and a half kicked my a** w school.
