This is where Noah (Moderator) was talking about his protune and I challenged him.

zerothread?id=466615

This is a SR vs KAT challenge that also came from Noahs thread.

zerothread?id=467508

Then there's the on going battle between GODCHSR and I for the fastest stock block KA.

zerothread?id=447733

I guess I should start a build thread before I get so far behind that I end up racing a rental Next year looks to be another great year for Nico events and the KAT family. The cool thing will be having the fastest stock block record right here at Nico. I have a feeling GODCHSR and I will be willing to go as far as it takes, including breakage and towing, to hold that record Good times ahead

I dont think nothing is stock about koshin's car so he might have an advantage. But you got the ultimate advantage DISPLACEMENT.

There is so much trash talking going on in those 3 threads, but I will have to say that I agree with Lonismos14.

KA-T FTW!!

I dont think its fair, wd has a semi truck sized blower, koshin has what a t25, lol. Maybe in the 1/8th he will win but other than that its a no brainer. Once that big ole thing gets spooled its a matter of seconds before said t25 powered 2liter gets ate.

only limitation wd has is fueling, and twin fuel pumps should let the fmu flow decent at 130psi. which should give him plenty of mani pressure before the need for water/meth.

have the juice hooked up as an assurance thing, would not talk about it though. a local guy, think he is on here actually, made some good numbers on a jwt nitrous tune, said the tune was like 800bux

I know, why do you think I lol'd him asking about blowing the tires at 300 being an sr and out of my "know" I think the t25 is going to be the end of his demise. Drag racers use large turbo's for a reason. Plus the ka makes its own f***ing trq, the snail just means more of it.

man I cant get in on this race but I can shoot ideas!ditch any thought of IC, rely on meth to keep it cool. Your blower is huge man, lag is your enemy. Spray water pre turbo, then a step stage of meth, I know 2 pumps is more s*** to buy.... but you make good money

I've thought about losing the FMIC, and I would if this was a drag only setup. If anything I'll run a water/air cooler inline to shorten the piping.

As of right now I'm keeping the FMIC because it's a daily. Have you priced methanol lately dude? It's not cheap...at all. Which goes 100% against the point of this project. I'll use water as much as possible because it's free...lol.

I'm not overly concerned about the lag homie. I've used this turbo before When I shift, it stays right in the rpm range to keep my turbo at full song. The only issue is launch. I'll be looking for a launch control of some kind. Set that dude at 5500 and slip the clutch...should have me at full boost as I'm grabbing second.

The 1/8th is just what we're racing at Omaha. Certainly not something I'll worry about, since I'm certain my car will be faster in the 1320. I'll give her my best, which should lead me to wins in the power department and keep me in contention for the 1/8th.

GODCHSR is actually the only person that will actually be serious competition.

Why not try -20 windshield washer fluid? It's about a 50/50 mix, it's strong enough that I can get it to light up if I spill it on the floor. It'd be the best of both worlds.

Down side is that it'll dye everything blue. lol

I'm trying to go as far as I can with just water...because it's free and the point of my build is to go as far as possible for as little $$$ as possible. Or I'd use a variable controller and a 75/25 alcohol/water mixture.

I even contemplated using propane, $24ish a tank. A tank would probably last me 2 months. That will be the next route I try as far as $$$ is concerned.

yeah I'm talking just for the drag, making alternate IC pipes is not hard, and its cheap...

I keep forgetting you already ran this turbo on a ka and know what it will do, I just keep thinking of the t4 I almost bought, 1.02 ext, I would still be waiting on spool

The IC wont hurt anything just limit the idea of pre turbo injection..

btw hurry the f*** up and build.

I wish you lived closer man...I need to absorb some of your motivation. I used to be like you...I'd have an idea and be in the garage at 0300 hrs with my compressor fired up. Wifeunit2000 was not fond of those days

I have a spare head...I feel like I'm a total waste of skin for not having it stripped and totally ported. I'm fairly good at porting to/too?...so sad.

yeah w/ JWT not only do you have to buy the tune for $495 you have to buy the nitrous control module which is atleast $250. But "good numbers" are worth the cost.

he said b**** slapping bad a** sr's was a breeze I saw none of this but he is a decent dood, so I tend to believe those that present them self as honest, sometimes...

I heart his car, gold sick mesh and that blue is off the hizzoook!

wd, I am only up till 1ish, up by 6~7... I dont work on the car after it gets dark, I dont have a garage :fail part of why the city is out here so much

you should take full advantage of any part that is stock and can be made better. You need to spool that big pos off the line
