Its the garrett version the only difference is the hks badge since the hks turbo is made by garrett anyway.

Getting ready to dyno mine in 2 weeks with tomie 260 procams and a stock intake. Looking for 380+ at 22psi? I will be running with the cams and 24psi this weekend in the 1/4. I'll let you know how it goes.

That is good! I have seen 407hp with the 2871 and 20 psi so you are right in the range.

A common misconception is that boost is the limit of a motor but it is actually power. I have seen close to 500hp on stock bottom end the key is eliminating detonation. That car has been active at around 500hp for 3 months now.

Yeah your right on the money there with detonation i have boosted 23 psi on stock bottom end. Scott just recommends no more than 19psi im sure he knows a lot more than me . My afr is between 11.3-11.8 and scott tuned my **** so i couldnt be happier. I try to post up my dyno sheet asap my scanner took a ****.

I believe his numbers. And if Best1Tuning says it can be done then its definitly possible. Hanna from Best1 Tuned my SR and he said he could get 500whp on pump gas and he did exactly that. Granted it was 24psi, it made it with no detonation.

Hey guys guys...no problem when I get to the shop I will post the sheet and pictures of the car. I dont ever BS that goes against everything I stand for.

Even if I post dyno sheets there will probably still be the nonbelievers since Im not as "known" as some of the other other tuners so when it goes on the dyno again which it WILL I can get some video for you guys as well. Thank you drifterprodigy for your vouch.

best1tunig, what kind of numbers do you think I can put down with my new mods. I have a fully built bottom end with 86.5/ 8.5 arias pistons, GT2871 .64 ar, 72 lbs msd injectors, cobra maf, and a JWT rom tune. Jgy 10.5lbs flywheel. With that setup it made 345whp at 20psi on a dynojet last year. I have added tomie 260 procams and BC springs. My sportmax wheels and 265/35/18's weigh 52lbs and my 24.5x8.5 drag slicks weigh 27lbs. I will be running it with the drag tires and 24psi December 13th. I raise my fuel pressure to 51psi without vacuum when I run 24psi of boost at the track and it keeps my afr around 11.5. I drop it back to 43psi of fuel pressure and 18psi of boost on the street. Any suggestions for squeezing the last 20-30whp out of my setup?

I love people who are "know it all's" I was standing right next to Hanna when he was tuning steve's car...... The car mad 409 to the wheels on 18psi...and he will be tuning my car in the next couple weeks also (cp pistons, eagle rods, Garrett 35R) and we are going for way over 500hp!

Can't wait till he post the pic of the dyno sheet for all you no believers!!

looks like moday Ill have the sheets and pics up, steve (the owner) was very happy with the powerband of this car and it is a very nice looking car in itself. You can take a look at the car and dyno sheets with a GT35r @16 psi (boost up after this point hardly gained any power due to an extreemly restrictive ex. manifold) here:

http://www.phillydrift.com/viewtopic.ph ... 6d161bd9e4 He likes the powerband of the smaller 2871 a bit better.

As for kentuckyslider, an upgrde to the larger exhaust housing would give you some extra horses but a little bit later in the powerband. I would expect you to make at least 375 with your new setup @ 20psi and be into 400 @ 24psi.

First off, I'm not doubting that those numbers can't be made. I've seen them made before. I want to see the sheet personally because I'm in the middle of build myself.

And how does me raising the BS flag make me a know it all? Why don't you pull your head out of his *** and post the dyno sheet for him, so we can all see it. That is all...

OP, looking forward to seeing the sheet, I'll be running close the same setup, minus the JWT cams and on an S14 Sr.

I as well have no doubt what that setup can make....Ive seen the numbers as well on ther cars, just trying to give the OP some motovation to post the dyno sheet...thats it...If I posted up that my car made 409 whp or whatnot, I would post up a dyno sheet, but thats just me...Im not a non believer, I just wanna see the dyno sheet

EDITED: I just was that jr_SS posted that he is running nearly the same setup, I will be running nearly the same setup as well this spring...I want to see the number for reference as well...Many people run this setup because it is proven to make big numbers....
