Well, I went up to Discount Tire to get a new steelie after raping the entire front right of my car. They didn't have any in stock, so I decided to break down & get a full set of wheels. I work at a Honda dealership, and we just so happen to get a major discount. So what was originally a raping @ $1250, I got for a decent price of $840 (wheels & tires) 17x7.5(EDITED, looked them up) 215/45R17

How do ya like them? These are probably going to be sold to a buddy after a year or so, but they make the car look 1039229038 times better than the steel wheels IMO.

I don't mean to be a d!ck but IMO you wasted your money on some bland tasteless wheels.

Your only overwhelmed by the fact that you actually have wheels now, just wait till buyers remorse kicks in and you realize you just bought a set of weak honda wheels.

If you researched at all proper sizing and think sunk is in, then good for you..

otherwise..

Sorry but this is my opinion.

They didn't have the battles in stock. I needed something that day. Bah.

These look better than steelies, and will hold me over until I go 5 Lug. I'll get a nice set of NISMO wheels, then.

840 did include lube. Nice white tire lube.

Edit @Shayl:

Don't worry about sounding like a d!ck. lol They really don't look THAT sunk in person. I'm REALLY happy with the way the front looks, but the rear needs an 18in w/ small dish. I don't really dig the whole rolled fender look w/ the body damn near resting on the tire tread.

I could always add a small spacer to make them flush, because that's really what I'd like. I've had this set for about a week now, and buyer's remorse hasn't hit, so hopefully it doesn't.

I'm going to have to agree with everyone on the sizes. For the same price, you could have gotten better fitting wheels...

but if you're happy, good for you. You're the one that has to drive it.

I sense more fail. Research sizing and offsets very carefully to avoid another mistake like this, young padawan...

They still look better than steelies? Sorry, but your fender roll looks like it was done with a baseball bat, or maybe a hammer? Your fitment looks good, but don't call me a noob.

I didn't mean to insult anyone with steel wheels, maybe I should have said "MY STEELIES". My set were oxidized beyond belief, and I just didn't have the motivation to paint them. *shrug*

^^^what are the sides on the red hatch? Almost looks like OEM integra sides haha.

I understand that not everyone wants the hellaflush look(but should want )

But buying flush wheels off the bat makes it so you do not have to worry about spacers and crap.

They may not look as sunk to you right now, but wait till you lower your car to whatever "DD height is..." they will only suck in as you go lower. Then you have this body that has wheels that don't fit, as if it should run on train tracks.

anyways, my 2cents, sorry for ragging so hard, I just issues with wheels that don't fit proper IN MY VIEW.

As long as you enjoy em, right on!

Having steel wheels = I either don't care about looks or I just haven't gotten around to replacing them with something better.

Having bad fitting wheels = I tried to make it look cooler, but I failed miserably because I don't know any better...

I'd rather rock steelies or OEM wheels then some janky fitting FWD wheel.

My car is already as low as I want to go. I have Stechs & GR2s. So, I need not worry about them sinking in anymore. The roads SUCK where I live, and on top of that, the stress of other suspension components on a slammed car makes me sick.

I don't really understand why the vast majority thinks that if you aren't having to camber the piss out of your car, roll the hell out of your fenders, and having to patch your oil pan with JB weld every 3 months.. you're a noob. lol

whoever owns that car hacked up kouki s14 skirts to fit his hatch.

ppl, when quoting pics, change the img tags to url tags please. it's really annoying to have to see the same pics over, and over, and over.

op, as long as you're happy, that's all that matters.

I was not saying you have to slam it down and drag your pan.

Dunno what people are b****ing about slammed cars for, I have been DD'ing mine on s***ty roads, just pay attention, like you should be right?

I didnt roll or hammer the s*** outa my fenders or even find a dent in my oilpan.

For those who do it, do it because they think it looks awesome, if you don't like it, you are not the one driving it

There is a reason why I said everything as IMO or my VIEW, just so people don't generalize things, it is just how I like MY cars.

But I don't drive yours so I can only suggest what I think looks good, which is why you posted it up here right? asking for comments?

If you like it then that's all that matters man. But they definitely look like some Honda wheels and they are not 9" wide...more like 7. And $850?!?! To each their own I guess.

Wheels AND tires. My tires cost more than my wheels.

I appreciate everyone's constructive criticism. That's all fine and dandy. I just don't like being called a noob for my choice in wheels?

I don't know if you are being sarcastic, but yes, I do have some issues with larger speed bumps, and steep driveways. I have to slow down severely for 2 intersections on the way to work. I would like to go lower, but I'm not going to lose my daily drive-ability.

EDIT:

Wheels are 17x7.5. I looked them up. Sorry for misconstruing.

Looks like another person that doesnt realize the 240sx is a RWD car to me. Those are fwd offset, boring, and would rather have seen the steelies on there and you spent your 900 bucks on some good coilovers.

But seriously, are you driving straight into these things or something? I still consider you stock ride height, you should not have any issues whatsoever.

" I work at a honda dealership"

i see why you chose those wheels now. Looks better than steelies I suppose. still kind of expensive i got my wheel and tire set up new for about 800 for everything. including lots of lube.
