i'm not going to even try to argue, the SS Turbo is quick. its quick, handles amazing, pretty nice interior but OMG the outside is like the ugliest thing i've ever seen.

I'm noticing a trend in the "I sold my coupe" threads...they're all 2.5's....

Good luck with the new car.

^ It's the reason why I went over my budget and went with the 3.5SE. Last time, I regretted not getting the Type S '02 Acura RSX, instead I got the "Premium."

The only Domestic I would even consider buying is the Cadillac CTS Coupe.

I don't think I can purchase a car base on just the "Numbers" (Speed, Engine, Spec, etc.). This is what the Cobalt SS is, just like the Dodge Neon SRT-4.

Anyways, congrats.

I gotta say, with my recent problem my coupe may be gone soon too. I should have just waited for the dealer to find me a 6 spd. Only thing is I plan to keep it in the family.

You were complaining about quality issues on your Nissan, but then you went a bought a GM!

Just make sure you dont change your mind again because the trade in values on GM's are rock bottom!

I think everyone is in agreement on this... I understand getting rid of the A/C due to issues... these issues are to be expected in any first year model vehicle.. hell look at the GTR.. they are having all sorts of problems with that car... transmission failling, launch control destorying the vehicle (*hence the reason they are eliminating launch control on the new GTR's)

but, to go from a problematic car to a GM vehicle is like moving out of your home built ona volcano and getting a condo in HELL!!!

wasnt the cobalt the car that replaced the cavalier?

but anyways... sorry to hear your gettin rid of you ac but i do hope you like/enjoy your new cobalt ss and dont have any problemsi saw on the chevy website it comes stock with brembo 4 pistons.. thats hella nice!

i just love my AC and i also love the fact that people always stare or walk around my car at work just to figure out what kind of nissan it is... im always getting people sayin..."i made a bet with my friend that its the new altima coupe..but they say its the new 370z.." that one always cracks me up... but i always get the kudos and props of how clean my car looks.

i'm sorry but american cars are the cheapest pieces of **** i've ever driven. I will never EVER buy domestic unless its an upscale ride (cadillac etc).

too bad you got a problematic coupe, but I think moving to GM is the worst idea evor.

noshift, is your A/C a 2.5 or 3.5?

if 3.5 and you trade in, dibs on exhaust

Aren't gm cars always governed at like 180 km? anyhow I dont want to make fun of your new ride Seriously I really am trying not to but (I personally see it as in the same class as a neon or kia, looks wise) yeah it has good horse power but it looses in sex appeal almost like it has a vagina repellent that radiates around it....it wouldnt matter if it had 500 ponies I personally couldn't drive one....any how thats my opinion. Everyone has their own taste in cars....sorry if I was harsh(that car is one of my pet peeves, along with the PT cruiser so I couldn't help myself) All the best with your new ride

I like the cobalts rear wing and turbocharged ecotec engine

only thing I don't like about the car is the lights, but with aftermarket projector headlights and eyelids they look hot

great car, with insane potential!

...its an American car it will fall to sh*i faster than a hooker to a jon. Not to mention the problems...this squeaks the wheel bearing is shot, speaker blew and the topper it only lasted to 100k miles and the transmission craped the bead and the engine is not far behind.

p.s. i drove American my whole life my g-paw worked for gm and i got the discount. this is the first foreign car i bough and i will never buy American again there is absolutely no quality anymore and the interiors are all junk hard plastic and on and on...That is a big part why the big three are going under there not even in the top 8 car manufactures they dont deserve to be " bailed out " that is bs and i dont want to pay for it i dont care if they go under...build a better product and become compeditive again or fail and close up shop.
