OZ Superleggera 18x9 +35mm with Michelin PS2 255/40-18.

Pictures and review coming.

What's truly amazing is how little weight it took to balance, as seen below.

Nice wheels, I had thoes in 19" 2 years ago on my 2002 maxima. very light, very nice wheels. Wheel quality=less crap to balance.

Had to repalce with not many good tires available for the 16x7 (which are pretty pristine and free of any curb rash) originals. Once you blow past 17x8.5 or 9 wheels, everything costs a lot in 18, but the choice of the top tire technology is better. Not much more to get to the good Asymmetricos or PS2 with the high 99 load rating. Goodyears are stuck at 95.

Fit on the G50 is fine, if not dropped, but with almost an inch clearance to the suspension in front, a better offset would be 38-40mm. 30-33mm offset, and the fender may become problematic in front.

More pictures when the car gets clean and I see it during the day.

I will post initial impressions on the tires first.

So you test fit them on one of your G50's and they cleared?

I have to agree 30-33 with 8 (225) & 8.5's (245) are close (closer than I'd like), but don't actually rub. I've recently come to believe my slight rub isn't the tire, but the corner (rear drivers) of the windage tray. I'm missing a few bolts (more now ) and the drivers side back has always sagged, but more so lately. I guess I'll try replacing the missing bolts first, but might have to look into a replacement tray in the spring. No desire to get on the ground/under the car in this colder than normal winter we're already having.

hehe thanks

those wheels are from a 2000 model I30. I would've gone for the one of the 17"s on the I35, but they were on the car when I bought it this summer, so what the heck

the car was also painted in some Lexus color about 3 years ago (still in ok condition), so that explains the missing pinstripe...to be honest, I didn't even notice it missing until you pointed it out. I always thought something looked 'off' O_o

These are my current wheels, 19x8 +20 & 19x9.5 +20. Like Brian's new OZ's, these took amazingly little to balance.

The one downside to my future/potential/one day FY33 is the 19" wheels and tires as no current Nis/Inf has take-offs with the right offset .

Hahaha! That still makes it US$450 per rim = US$1,800 for a set of four..... :p

Either currency, still sounds pretty steep to me.

And Rex..... of course we have ebay.....We even have these new fancy machines they call compuuders or sumfin..And the internet.... apparently you can view the same info with it no matter what part of the world you are in!! .Shipping would be way expensive.... Oh well.

New 18" aftermarket wheels, with tyres, can be had from AU$1,700.I will check out ebay though, and see what I can find....but havent had much luck yet.

MAXNIX: Do you have pictuers of the Superleggera's on your car?

I have those same rims, but the light grey color on my Honda Del sol in 15". i'd love to have matching rims on both the Honda and the Infiniti =P.

One of my distributors has these wheels on closeout so I can get a sweet deal on them. What do you guys think about them or how they would look? The offset is 45 which I know most don't like but really 45 isn't much different than 35 (10mm or less then 1/2"). They come in 18x7.5 is the max width. They do have a lip. Here's a photo if it works. I'd just put a spacer on the rear along with slightly wider tires.

The reason they are on close out is they are too narrow for a tire of the necessary width to carry the Q45.

What is their weight? What is their load capacity? Two of the most important specifications to consider!

Brian is right.... At widest what I would run on there is a 245... Ive seen 245s on a 7.5 in wheel, a little stretched but not bad......

I beg to differ, 245 on a 7.5 is not remotely close to anything resembling "stretched". I have 245 on my front's which are 8" and they aren't stretched at all, I would have preferred a 235 to get it a wee-tad stretched, but I'm happy with it.

I meant stretched meaning the tires are too WIDE for the wheels... You may have different nomelcature for that...

a 245 with the 7.5in wheen had the sidewalls just over the side of the wheel. looked fine.
