I have not posted on here very often and so my opinion will probably mean very little.. But I have read through this thread from its beginning and I really like the idea that you had earlier about the skyline S where it looks like an R and a B. it is classy and the best thing i like about it is that in my opinion in order for it not to look like crap it would have to be made out of metal.. I really feel this is the only way to go.. I would not want to put a sticker on my car. I mean after all any kid with a honda and twenty bucks to his name has a sticker on his car.. All of these cars you are talking about putting these on are special.. They should be treated with class.. I work in the auto glass and tint industry and have a few contacts that may be able to help us get these metal emblems made at a realistic cost even in small quantity.. let me know what you think

I'd have to agree with Karma240 about having the final version of the emblem made out of metal. It shouldn't be too hard for a shop with a CNC machine to cut these out as long as they have the design in a CAD file. Brushed aluminum would look pretty nice.

I got some good connections out here for that stuff. The boss's son had some "LS1" nameplates made for his 99 'Vette and the guy charged like $15 each or something stupid like that.

Agreed. I think we should try to have all the submissions completed by Monday, May 23. Then we can create a poll with all of the submissions and find out which one everyone prefers.

Well, I meant for the logos just to be due by the 23rd. We could then have the poll up for another week which would mean it can end on the 30th, just in time for you. I just figured we should put a due date thats somewhat close otherwise this discussion will go on forever.

The logos for submission should definitely go in a new thread so people don't have to search around for them. Any logos that want to be considered that have already been posted in this thread should also be placed in the new thread.

If you are going to make a poll make sure that you ask if people want vinyl or if they want them to be an actual metal emblem.. As i stated earlier I would not be willing to put vinyl on my car as I feel this should be something of class.... When you see whatever this symbol is on someones car you should think... Hey that guy is my brother.. not some poser with a $10 sticker.. But either way you should have it in the poll so the masses can decide...

I like the S emblem, but I don't think it should have the RB included, it should be simple and authentic. Just the skyline emblem alone will show that its an RB without giving it away.
