You make it too easy...wow!

I think The New England Martha Stewarts might actually hold a tougher meaning. A fuc*in' poet?!?!

yes, the Steeleretts were never official, so they dont count....and both Cleveland and Green Bay had official cheerleading squads at some point in their franchises......like i said....the Steelers are the only team to NEVER have had an official cheerleading squad.

Yeah that is true and I agree, though I would never tell a Steelerette that! I like my nuggets where they are thanks...

Packers decided to not reinstate the cheerleaders in 1988...

come on, Poe was pretty awesome. Im going to look up what the other choices were. I swear they were awful. I can think of a few worse names of NFL teams then the Ravens. Browns? Packers?..... Texans? !!! I mean how original. Im glad we are not the "Baltimore Marylanders"

but anyway, this game needs to come sooner or im going to lose my mind. I play on Xbox live with like 10 guys from Pittsburgh, and their $hit- talking is getting out of control. funny thing is, ive been playing with them for almost 3 years, and this is the first time ive heard any football talk out of them. nothing when we swept Pit 2 years ago, nothing about last season when it was 1-1, but now that we are in the AFC Championship together and you swept us, they are the most "hardcore" Steeler fans ever.Bandwagon anyone? I cant even enjoy my video games anymore.

I get "awesome" questions like, "arent some of the Ravens players hurt or something?," and statements like, "We destroyed you twice in the regular season." I hardly call 23-20 and 13-9 destroying anyone.

My statement is this, if you know nothing about football except when your team is plastered all over Sportcenter because they are doing well, please do not speak on the topic, it makes you come off sounding stupid.( this comment is not directed to anyone on here, just a broad statement)

This is why I enjoy posting on here. Good old-fashioned, educated, smack-talk.

Agreed every sports team/city has their fair weather fans which surface around these times and takl smack with no knowledge or research of the game. The only exception are Philadelphia "fans" in which everysingle one of them act that way anytime their team is doing well and then dissappear when they aren't. Anyway I like smack talk but anyone who thinks Pittsburgh "destroyed" Baltimore is a fool.

Anyway its hunting season in Pittsburgh!

Haha nice. I think the whole city is getting a head start with some places closing early and all the extra security precautions in the city.

Pretty nuts here too. :rockband tomorrow cant get here quick enough.

I hope to see a lot of disappointed Steelers fans. the way most of your fans are talking, you might as well already have the trophy. lets not forget that the Ravens got to this point too. Lets just say that I wouldnt go booking any flights to Tampa just yet.

Most apperances ever in the AFC Chamionship (14)....that means that the Steelers have appeard in 31% of the AFC Championship games.

Which I guess counts for most wins AND most losses in the Championship ...lol... and of course both of those records will be intact after Sunday

Philly yinz had a nice run of NFC apperances in the 2000's (Including this year) but 2 bowl appearances and most importantly ZERO championships, sorry, maybe next year you can eat without a bib.

I'll give ya the AFC North ain't all that but both teams ARE in teh Championship..oh and before you go sqwaking aout divisions..

Look at the NFC EAST 2000-2004 (When you guys had your run)... SAME THING, 1 well over 500 1 sort of 2 under, hell one those years

Phiilly was over the other 3 were 6-10

I love arguing with Philladeplhia fans, they just squawk no research...

I don't care what the Steelers did in 1980. Its been 29 years since that game buddy. Don't care...

What I do care about, is the whooping you got in week 3, and the whooping the Ravens will provide you tomorrow.

Good luck against the Ravens. Your going to need it.

Nobody here is booking tickets just yet, but a little confidence never hurts. I don't see us mocking important cultural things such as the terrible towel such as you guys. Some say its all in good fun, they might be right. However, tomorrow, whoever wins will leave their memory of these things on the field until next year.

Good Luck Guys.

I was referring to the Ravens played like crap! The Steelers deserve to win that game. We couldn't pass, run, or for christs sake tackle to save our lives. It was another close one and another failed attempt at a comeback. Theres always next year!

That was a great game, one of tghe best I have ever seen live, you could hear the pads crack in MD. Baltimore left it all on the field, but lost to a better team. Baltimore had a great season for rookie coach/QB. But I think Troy might have something to say about Ed Reed being the best. Where was Ed Reed yesterday? Anyway it was awesome, and champions win despite bad calls and missed opportunities. Game could have easily got out of hand but thats why we play every down. Right Philly?!?!

This is how we do it!

I was a perfect day, Pens Win (and looked good), Beagles Lose, Stillers going for #6 and when I pulled in to the lot, a friend from highschool pulled in right next to me, its uncanny, I ran into him at the Stanley Cup Finals in Detroit last year too. I was surprised I could stretch that ol Jack Lambert Jersey over all that and my ever growing gut. Gotta the dig the circa 1982 wool hat!

The steelers did what they needed to do to win. the reason reed was not a factor was because Ben was smart and never threw anywhere near him.

Hopefully we can get some WR who can actually get open against a good defense during the off season.

I will admit that the better team won. but like i said, im hopeful now for seasons to come and im happy we made it this far. (still depressed as hell though)

I will say this, Im amazed with how well the Cards played against the Eagles. Fitzgerald is ridiculous. This superbowl is going to be a great game. arguably, one of the best offenses in the league(at least thats how they are playing now) vs the best Defense in the league. I guess we will have to see if its true that defenses win Championships.

One thing I did want to say. Respect to the Baltimore fans. They showed class. There was a lot of "talking" goin on before and during the game but it was in good rival spirits. Profanities were kept to a minimum and I didn't see any real problems with fights or things being thrown etc.

Although I didn;t see a "section" of Ravens fans per se, more of a spattering around the stadium...(we probalby found a way to get your tickets, ask the red wings fans, 4000 Pens fans in Joe Louis, oops! lol)

Also, respect to the the Steelers fans when McGahee got clobbered. We clapped and waived our towels hoping he wasn;t seriously injured.

Phiadelphia should take some notes. This is how world-class football franchises and their fans act. This is what real champions are. I think the history of winning and championships out of this small lilttle city/town speaks for itself.

Go Steelers!

oh yeah, i forgot to mention that. the Steeler fans did seem to show respect when Mcgahee went down(that hit was ridiculous!)

Also, i almost ended up going to the game but it was my fiance's birthday and she told me that she would kill me if I left for the whole day , but I had quite a few friends that went, and they said that the fans were great. Your fans were buying beers for my friends and vice versa. they said that it must just be the Steelers fans that dont live in Pittsburgh that are a$$holes . You all should have a meeting and tell your out-of-state fans to represent you better all over the country.
