I almost got hit by a car on my bike when i used to ride it to UF and back home. They were trying to make a right hand turn, but i had the signal on the cross walk so i started to cross and then they decided (as they were looking the other way at traffic) to go. They slammed on their brakes and scared the s*** out of me. never wanted to ride my bike to school ever again. bus routes and driving all the way.

This is the part where I ask you what you're getting.

This might sound like a stupid question but, is there any difference between a N/A 300zx MAF and the TT 300zx MAF?

P.S. if anyone needs any images re-sized (signature pics and such) let me know. I'm out of work, bored & it only takes me a minute.

I have it posted up on Tampa Racing, and SFLDrifters, but only for trade. I honestly don't want to go throw the hassle of registering anything else at the moment though. haha

On that note, if I do decide to keep it. I need to find someone in town that paints and will charge somewhere in the $~800 vicinity.

Thanks for the link, I'm going to check it out when I get home today. Also, let me know if you find someone about that paint as I need it bad also. I could get away with just the bumpers but... eh...

I have a doctors appointment this afternoon but I'll try to photoshop those wheels when I get home too, just remember I'm not very good with photoshop so... You might want to keep those E-cool points... lol It's going to look like a five year old did it. It should be good for a laugh if nothing else though!

I don't have the space, nor equipment to do that. Otherwise I would.

Apparently the only way to get a decent paint job in town for under a grand, is to do it yourself. Looks like that's what I'm gonna have to do.

s*** man if you want to help me clean my garage up a little bit and staple up some visquine we could try to figure it out here. We could use our bumpers to test what we are doing, I've got a huge air compressor. I have 1 gun that my grandfather used to paint cars in there, but I have no idea if it is any good or not.

Just a thought...

I REALLY might have to take you up on the offer of that garage space. I think I might wait until I get my kit before I attempt to paint it though. haha

Yea, I was thinking the same thing when I saw you in traffic the other day. lol The front needs to come down a tad more...I'm waiting for the day my exhaust falls off. I swear it catches everything. I need to figure out how to tuck it up more.

LOL it sounds like fun to me. I need to figure out how to paint anyway. My car needs it.

Just let me know. If we clean it right we have enough room for one car at a time + room to move around the car. Like I said it's been done there before by my grandfather when I was a kid, he painted about a car a month for years.

Congrats! Did he black out the bay or is it the same color your car is going to be? Any pictures?

Velcro, I did the photoshop... When I get a chance later I'll post it. It does look like a 5 year old did it. It will be of no use to you, other than a good laugh.

EDIT: OK so I uploaded it. Get ready to laugh in...

Can anyone confirm for me that the five bolt j30 vlsd will bolt right in to the s14 like I'm being told? I'm reading the six bolt will but not the 5... I'm confused. Being told one thing but reading another...

iirc you need a 6 bolt j30 diff to work with your car unless you wanna switch out axles which in that case a 5 bolt with 5 bolt axles will work. you know the gear ratio is different on the j30 diffs right? the taller ratio might make it feel a bit more sluggish than it already is. unless your planning on going turbo try and find a 300zx n/a diff with some j30 axles too keep your ratio the same.

Thank you for the info!

Yeah that is what I read about the 6 and 5 bolts, I was worried about the drive shaft but it does come with the 5 bolt axles. I read about the taller gear ratio also... Guess I'll pass on this one. I don't want to make it any more sluggish for sure, and I plan to try to keep the KA N/A, with a few tweaks here and there. The price was right though and only as far away as Ocala. What a shame. :tisk:

Now I just have to find a 300zx n/a diff... and those j30 axles... and a 300zx MAF... Oh jebus, it never ends does it? lol
