Or, they won't care b/c they're the only cable provider in town.
This.

Saw an oldie but a goodie yesterday. Burnt orange s13 hatch with silk road decals...think his name is Lee? Haven't seen him in a couple years, must be in town visiting or something.

Pretty sure he lives here or did at one time. I used to see it around all the time. The car is for sale though apparently. I saw it on craigslist. lol

I've never really had too much of a problem with Cox. I really don't do much with the internet, but my sister and her boyfriend are sometimes playing World of Warcraft on at least 3 or 4 computers in her room sometimes. I remember that it has cut out a few times, but really not all too much to bother me..

tomorrow is my last day of classes..... can't wait to be done. not looking forward to the final exams though.

OK, I'm trying to figure out the hotel situation for those of us going to FD atlanta. Most of the places I'm looking at are around $90-$100 a night. It too bad if we shove at least 4 people in a room (depending on how many people go, a few might only get floor space. I'm getting a bed. just sayin) But yea. I'm trying to find somewhere near Braselton on the main highway or maybe in Braselton.

So far the people I know of who are going are:
Me
Michael
Thomas
Thomas's wife
Bryant
Todd
Carlos

If anyone else wants to go, or is planning on going let me know because so far it looks like we'll be getting 2 rooms. So yea. I'll keep y'all updated. Also, anyone else have a AAA membership? We can get discounts with AAA memberships. I have one for one of the rooms but if someone else can apply their membership for the discount on the other room that would be great because I'm not going to reserve both rooms under my name.

Media pass for the MF win! Wish I had one... I've got the RV, too bad I'm not going or we could fit quite a few in there comfortably & tow one car behind. I like to take a bed with me when I go, lol.

:yesnod

P.S.
I STILL WANNA SEE THAT RACE! LOL! You guys have some great equipment, if you ever wanna go play with those cameras I'm down for some photographic fun.

hmm. yea, it was taking forever to load so i clicked it a million times. on the old layout i could get away with it and it would only post one.

I'm pretty sure road atlanta doesnt allow RVs and camping for this event.

I booked 1 room at this hotel:

SpringHill Suites Atlanta Buford/Mall of Georgia
3250 Buford Drive
Buford, GA 30519

I think Bryant and Todd will be staying in that room with me and Michael but I'm not positive on that. Either way, someone needs to book the other room there or find another hotel, but it would be cool if we could all stay together in the same hotel.

That hotel is about 15-20 minutes away from the track, is on the way back down to florida for when we all leave on sunday, and has the complimentary breakfast in the morning. (that was a must for me. I like food. hah)

sooooo yeaaaaa.

Also:
# Buford hotel with complimentary high-speed Internet and a hot breakfast buffet daily.
# King or double double suites with separate dining, working and sleeping areas.
# All suites with new luxury bedding-thicker mattresses, crisp linens and fluffy pillows.
# All suites with a sleeper sofa, a mini-fridge, and a microwave for comfortable in-suite dining.
# Buford hotel with comfortable, well-lit work area with desk-level outlets
# Mall of Georgia hotel within walking distance to over 50 restuarants.

I booked the double double room, but it looks like they also have a "sleeper sofa" in the room. They say that the max # of people in the room is 3, but just be hush hush about the extra people

Don't care about what they allow, LOL. That's the great thing about an RV, you can have all your toys and comforts of home with you while your towing your car behind. I can park at an RV park (or friends house just outside of ATL) and be comfortable at night however I see fit, and use my 240 to get around. But it doesn't matter, I'm not going so...

Have fun!

Hahaha, alright, as somewhat of a "bike guy", I feel qualified to answer this.

Yes I ride it in the street. Yes I always use a bike lane if there is one. Yes this means that if there is no bike lane, I will ride off to the side in the lane of traffic if I have to. No, I do not ride it on the sidewalk. Sidewalks are for pedestrians. If there's no bike lane on that particular road, write your local congressman/mayor/city planner a strongly worded letter.

Hope I didn't come off as a d!ck. I know it sucks driving behind a bike, but that's just tough s*** sometimes.

*hugz*

Give me two weeks, a few cans of spraypaint, and you'll be able to spot me no probbbbbb.....

Everyone is getting rid of their 240. I'm about ready to start driving something new as well. I just haven't decided what yet.

That... they are... I'm keeping my Nissan, may trade it for another Nissan at some point but I'm going to try to hang in there as long as I can. I have decided I'm going to do some NA upgrades to the KA24DE instead of trowing money at a build. It should cost less to get cams/ITB's/intake manifold (crap like that) than it would to build the KA for turbo or do a swap.

People are starting to add up what they have spent just to realize they could have spent the same money for a car that pulls just as hard/harder as a stock SR20DET... And we all know owning Nissans that you will never get back what you put in when you sell.

Oh well, let 'em, that's more parts for our cars and more Nissans available to buy and play with!
Clawhammer wrote:If I see you I will finds all kinds of ways to scare the s*** out of you.
LOL I didn't want to have to say it but I will too. You people scare the s*** out of me, not for my own well being but damn if I want to run over your a**. I see people riding on the roads with heavy traffic at rush hour, like on the road in front of my house (26). It's a two lane road with wall to wall traffic and they ride 4 to 5 thick in the lanes and WILL NOT MOVE. The cars can't exactly pass and unfortunately people dieing from getting hit by traffic is a HUGE problem. Has been since I was a kid, doesn't look like it is going to change no matter what the state of Florida bicycle rules say.

I feel sorry for the poor people who had to go through that, all because a bike was in the roadway their life will be ruined forever. All over a guy in spandex and a friggin' pink bicycle...

If you knew how to drive your car, you wouldn't hit a bicyclist you see 1 miles ahead before you pass him.

Hence the fact that I have not hit anyone, I'm just saying these people out here do not know how to do that. That is your big threat. Hell they hit me and I'm in another car... You just don't stand a chance with these idiots out here on a bicycle.
