Nahhhhhhh. VG33. I'll tell you though, you pop the hood and it's one giant clusterf*ck. I don't know how I'm going to work on this thing.

Going back out to the track for test n tune wednesday again, hopefully I'll be using some Nitto drag radials this time. Shooting for a 12.4. Some good racing, and some fast cars. Very fun to watch if you like cars, which I'm sure is everyone on here. Hope to see some of you there.

Marshall, how much did it cost you to get the Skyrine painted? I think that's next on my list. My car desperately needs it.

Eh. I don't want some really s***ty paint job...I might just do it myself if it's too much of a hassle to find someone to do it.

Holy f*ckballs. COX cable company keeps f*cking me and my roommates in the aassss. We're paying for the "upgraded" service of 20Mbps down and it never gets above 10-12. Right now our whole house is sharing 1.2Mbps down and our internet is absolutely f*cked. Barely able to browse the web.

We've had a tech come out 5 TIMES, and each time they don't have anything to say. It's always along the lines of, "oh, well, uh... maybe it's just busy on your block right now, blahblahblahshi*tn'outyamouth". The last time the dude plugged in directly from where the cable comes out of the ground and into the house and he was STILL getting ridiculously slow speeds, so we know it's not our computers/modem/router/house wiring.

We're on the phone right now w/ AT&T figuring out the story with their DSL service. On paper it's slower, but I'd rather have a guaranteed constant 4Mbps down than this fluctuating between 10 and 0.5 bullsh*t.

God damn*t. I'm sorry, but I'm just f****ng livid right now with COX and their horsesh*t service.

[/rant]

*Sigh*... So yeah. Any of you guys have similar experiences w/ COX internet? It makes me want to get in my car and plow right into the lobby of their office up on 43rd.

yeah their "upgrade" is complete bs. we got it a little bit ago and it actually was slower, finally we got fed up with it and while on the phone trying to cancel the upgrade the call was "dropped" 3 times. finally we got them to put us back on our original plan and havent had any problems since.

just call up and tell them your planning on canceling your their service completely, thatll get them to straighten up there s***.

I'm probably not going to want to pay anywhere near what that guy is probably going to charge. I'm thinking about doing something simple. Like a grey, or a maroon or something. Not so concerned about the jams and stuff as compared to the rest of the car.

Matt, a couple years ago we would get slower than 56k when we were supposed to be getting 11mbps. Cox came out a million times before they finally admitted our node was overloaded. Then we had 3 months of the internet randomly going out as they split nodes, but then after that, it was like Stoneridge was on it's own node lol, our internet was sooo fast. At my house here we usually get 11mbps + however the last couple months it's been a tad slower, but the worst part is the internet just going out randomly a couple times a day. I don't know what cox is doing but it reminds me of my past Cox headaches.

URAS replicas. They looked HUGE on my friends coupe, but my car makes them almost look like OEM Chuki sides which is funny.

Are they Tom's old ones?

And yeah, they do. If you decide to rock em', try finding a rear valance, or at least mud flaps or something lol

Just adding my 2cents about cox internet, we've had it for almost a year now and we always have speed and cutting out problems. We can hardly run two devices on at once, let alone gaming on multipul consols. We are currently looking into at&t since my girl works there. Cox is very frustrating.

Yea they are Tom's old ones...If I get them I probably wont even put them on until I find a front and rear bumper to go with them.

I've got like a 2mm spacer or something ridiculously tiny just to clear my coils. 10s in the front fit about perfect.

On the subject of Cox again, I totally know what you mean. I can't even surf the internet and play MW2 at the same time. My apartment complex includes cable in the rent so I can't really change it. I emailed them about it though.

Damn. We just had a tech out again yesterday. Said there's nothing he can do. I think at this point we're just going to keep calling them and keep getting a tech out here and maybe, eventually, when we have enough visits logged in their database they'll realize their connection simply isn't sufficient and consider splitting our node or something.

Makes sense if you think about it. The cable infrastructure was probably installed ~40yrs ago, when my neighborhood was mostly families. But now 3 out of 4 houses in my area have 4+ college students living in them, all using way more bandwidth than the system was originally designed for.

Or, they won't care b/c they're the only cable provider in town.
