It is possible to do a single car time attack with unlimited laps in the demo, I was just sorta of clicking through the leaderboards and it started up so i can't say excatly how to do it but it was nice to have more laps to play with the physics.

If they were an new studio with a new game I'd agree, but they aren't.

They are the studio making the definitive driving game for the 360. They really don't need to make a demo to sell the game.

Please do not call it drift mode this isnt NFS: s***.

P.S. most of the people on the forza forums dislike the drift points... It makes no sense at all. Personally i hate it too.

Most of em were, And we need the option to remove the stock spoilers.instead of replacing them with ricey ones.and why is the forza spoiler the only one with adjustable down force, it looks horrid.

as much as I complained about the replay system, I now love the feature. I can try different ways to induce my drift....if one doesn't work...just hit the replay button and try another.....I can't wait for Forza 3

I Don't Know How They Think We Could Drift Those Cars.

In The Demo.

Everything Has Soft Suspension With Soft As Tires.

After using the replay system multiple times.I've realised that.1, you won't be able to use it online, and that most people will become dependant on it.2, it should NOT be able for use in drift mode- Why because no one will suck. so some guy who just got the game can pull off drifts like team BLK-J.3, It seriously makes the game more noobish like should only be availible with auto braking or doing a race that is more then 5 laps.cuz ive had those 20 some lap races and 1 slight degree offyour screwed.

how many times must i say this....

THERE IS NO DRIFT MODE.

it just counts points as you get "sideways" or ripping the e brake which is stupid. A real drift mode is like for example "Need For speed: Prostreet or Shift". The physics actually change in Drift Mode for their game.

And FM3 is a simulation game hence no physics being changed, so no drift mode.

and this is why no one likes the drift leaderboard either... its pointless and shows no skill.

You and all the other Forza Fanbois who are trying to be overly technical are starting to piss me off.

Its a mode in which the only thing that matters is drift points....it IS drift mode.

Just cuz the physics dont change doesn't mean it isnt drift mode. The leaderboards say drift, the only thing counted is drift points, why should i not call it drift mode.

What do you fanbois want us to call this mode?

P.S So is time attack mode not actually time attack mode, because the physics didnt change between race and time attack?

I still wish they would have let us play with the tuning portion of the game at least with the Flying Lizard GT3. They keep making it a point that the tuning side is more complex than it was before and yet there isn't anything showing us what has changed and how much more in depth it is if at all. At least release a video showing it in action. I'd love to see them implement some sort of engine tuning section. After all, with some minor tweaks to your Fuel and Air and some simple changes to the ECU and your timing you can make a mildly fast car into a real competitor with cars 1 or 2 classes above you and it's practically free.

First of all im not a fanboy, I love GT5 also.

Second, THERE IS NO DRIFT MODE, even when your in a regular race all you have to hit is the left d-pad and the points are showing (if you geet sideways) and it even counts it when you dont turn it on.... Go on the Forza Forums and READ

as for the time attack comment that was so fail cause its a horrible attempt at trying to compare 2 totally different things

You stupid fanboy, what dont you understand about drift mode, theres a huge leaderboard dedicated to the mode, the only way to get to the top of said leaderboard is to drift....IMO that equals drift mode.

Why is drift mode not called drift mode, yet time attack mode is allowed to be called time attack mode.explain to me why Driftmode isnt drift mode.

There are two sets of leaderboards. 1. Time attack, another Drift.

So whats the one which shows drift points for???? Explain this to me in as clear english you can muster, cuz i really want to understand how you think, and if you fail to explain it to me Ill consider all your opinions moot till 2012.

Honestly it actually doesnt matter, i already think you are a fanboy and are profoundly retarded, cuz i know and everyone who competes on the drift leaderboards knows, that the mode is drift mode. What you call it doesnt even matter, cuz at the end of the day if you want to climb up that leaderboard you are gonna have to drift better.

It sounds like a duck, looks like a duck, smells like a duck it must be a duck.

I concur, but I think what Klodust is trying to say is that there are no drift "events" to participate in. As in no tandem drifting or courses specifically set up for drifting etc. However, Turn10 did say that depending on what they see the community doing with the game, they could implement things like that down the road.
